The real question is; how can they counter PS and the sword slashes alone? These slashes would take out all of the members except Nagato and Obito. All of the akatsuki members are not strong.

- What would Hidan and Kakuzu accomplish against PS? None of their attacks would get through to Madara.
- Deidara and Sasori are easy targets for the slashes as well. Madara can also use Yasaka Magatama to take out Deidara or put him under genjutsu. These magatamas's can also destroy Sasori's puppets. His needles would never go through sussano layers.

Madara also has gunbai and Gaeshi. The former deflected a mini TBB without any damage to Madara. He also has incredible speed, taijutsu skills, and impressive fire techniques which took severl water gun techniques to put it out, when fire is weak against water.

Itachi's sussano would be rendered useless against PS's sword slashes as well.

The only problems are Nagato and Obito. The rest of them can be soloed with ease by EMS Madara. Now the question is, whether we take EMS Madara alone for the discussion or Rinnegan as well.

They would still destroy the field before they meet. You're not shooting it in a straight line, it's expanding, and it will expand until they collision with each other.

Having 2 shinra tensei expand will in fact destroy the akatsuki. That middle line where they meet and cancel each other out, will in fact squash the akatsuki into oblivion because its like being in the middle of 2 rolling boulders coming together. Sure the boulders will stop rolling but everything between them will be dead.

Having 2 shinra tensei on the field is just like saying lets throw 2 nuclear bombs, having 1 cancel the others explosion out won't make any difference. The 2 are still going off and are still going to destroy the area and cause damage before it meets the other one.

How do you not get this? Are you really that retarded? If they both decide to do it regardless of who has the stronger shinra tensei, then the akatsuki will be destroyed. That is why you're scenario doesn't work. There is no safe zone!
