In one piece Marco and the flower dude cut akainu with haki but it didn't work his logia abilities still took effect.

Could it be that akainu is pre much unbeatable in one piece?
Is it a different haki that only shanks and whiteboard can use?

I'm going to assume that akainu's haki is stronger than theirs, and that allows him to be able to regenerate from their attacks. He probably likely regenerates much slower than he normally would and if he takes too many blows like that he will probably start to actually be hurt.

That's the way I'm looking at it anyways, no saying for sure... It's also possible that he knew they were haki users and purposely split his body where they were going to hit.

That only means one of three things:

1. His Haki is superior to Marco's and Vista's
2. Their Haki wasn't strong enough
3. Since they just saw Ace die and are now in distress, their Haki may have faulted for a second, and not been strong enough at that moment of attack to damage Akainu.

I'm leaning for the third one.

Completely baseless, ur pulling things out of ur ass, he was messing around with WB, the same WB who had the power to be above any fighter in OP as the WSM, I can see u coming and saying to me that WB was weaker because he was old but even that again is baseless and just pure fan worlds, as long as its not confirmed in manga than WB even in his old state was way above anyone in OP, saying akainu cant mess with the fighters u mentioned its a fanboyish thinking.

i dont think there is such thing it seems like wb`s haki> akainu`s> marco`s and vista`s
marco and vista couldnt hurt him cause there haki wasnt stronger than akainu`s but it`s safe to assume WB`s haki is in a completly diffrent level you cant compare marco`s haki to it
