[Predictions] No shit Sasuke's just testing Naruto

Now I could easily be wrong on this in the end but wasn't wrong about Kaguya's defeat or Sasuke's reasoning for wanting to fight Naruto.

Sasuke's not really planning to kill the Kage or bijuu. I'm pretty sure he's aware Bijuu will just be reborn and can't truly be killed. If he really wanted to kill, he would've killed Sakura and Kakashi and not genjutsu Sakura and he won't do shit to Kakashi because well, Kakashi's Krillin.

He's trying to find a compatible resolve within himself and Naruto, to create a new ninja world. A revolution is necessary, even Jiraiya knew that.

Ignoring upcoming movie, the focus on Sasuke before the last two chapters showed him a bit sad, conflicted, lost. This is how he's gonna get his answer. Naruto knows they get their answers through their fight, Sasuke just can't straight up be like "lets go no scope mlg fgt"

Sasuke needed a reason to fight Naruto, but ultimately he's not gonna follow through with killing the Kage or Bijuu.

Actually no he intends to kill the Kage with the reason due to his "Revolution" and also since Sasuke knows of the Chakra of the TB inside Naruto then he also wants to kill him as well though Naruto has plenty of reasons to want to stop Sasuke so we wait and see I guess

I think Sasuke plans on getting some answers in this fight. Not sure about the whole testing thing but he definitely looked conflicted recently. I hope that doesn't mean Sasuke will hold back but I doubt it. It seems Sasuke is still looking for something else though. He's been more talkative and in a different aspect than usual so I suspect Sasuke still has a hidden agenda we don't know of. Though I think he sees this new resolve of Naruto's and is surprised. This is the first time Sasuke has ever seen Naruto like this.

i agree, sasuke loves sakura if you ask me. Him putting her in a genjustsu was so he didn't have to deal with her right now, otherwise why not kill her? it would use less chalkra to blitz her than it would be to put her under genjutsu...... Sasuke is testing him of sorts I agree... The winner of this fight gets to decide whos way we will do this revolution, either naruto way or sasuke way.

All throughout the series Sasuke has refused to kill or attempt to kill those who aren't directly involved with what he wants to do. Orochimaru questioned why he didn't kill all those Sound ninja when they were training. Sasuke said he left them alive because they have nothing to do with his revenge.

He already has an idea of what he wants, as he plans to tell Naruto what his version of a "Hokage" is. If he was testing Naruto to find some answer for himself, he wouldn't already have an explanation.

Bold part isn't true he attempted and had Naruto not grabbed Sakura from Sasuke's hands she'd be near dead and Sasuke would finish the job he was that insane and she was trying to kill him to stop him so I guess that qualifies as getting in his way to stop him right? lol

Trying to kill him or stop him would be getting in his way yes. Do you disagree with that?

I may have misinterpreted your other post. The beginning of it you were disagreeing with what I said but then halfway through the post you questioned it. I was trying to figure out if you were actually disagreeing or what was going on.

Honestly I hope so, it would make his character make a lot more sense. But, his character doesn't seem built that way, however, we don't *actually* know what's going on in his head since he talked with Itachi and the Hokage.

Chances are though, he's not a secret good guy. But I think it would be great.

Or maybe he remembered how Naruto nearly solo'd Kaguya when she killed Obito and was trying not to get him that angry.
