I don't think Naruto is stronger than Nagato at his Prime.
When Naruto fought the Paths, he knew almost everything about them,
and Nagato was basically, DYING in that fight.
Compared to Nagato not knowing anything about Naruto and still kicking his ass around in the fight, yeah. I know Naruto won, but you gotta admit, without the Fox, Pain was kicking his ass. Even with almost MAX power, Naruto still had a hard time.

Nagato was like, the strongest Ninja alive at his time.
Remember. Rennigan>Sharingan. So you Uchiha Fanboys can GTFO.

The fight with Nagato was NOT as one-sided as you think. Nagato had just done away with Jiraiya.

Jiraiya:
1. Rasengan
2. Sage Mode
3. Shadow Clones
4. Shima and Fukasaku
5. Swamp of the Underworld.

Naruto:
1. Rasengan
2. Sage Mode
3. Shadow Clones
4. Shima and Fukasaku
5. Kyuubi

Now keep in mind that the Kyuubi only helped Naruto out AFTER all the other paths had been beaten.

Jiraiya managed to kill four bodies, animal path dying twice.

MEANING that Nagato had just fought a Sage Mode user that uses more or less the same techniques as Naruto. Also, Akatsuki has certain amounts of intel on their targets...

Well guess what, Naruto can't kill Pain either. Bodies are dead. Meaning that in order for Naruto to truly beat Pain, he would have to conserve energy and hold back so he could take down Nagato himself. OR, Nagato would just find new bodies and attack Konoha again. Naruto wouldn't have truly taken over the threat.

At the time, was Pain stronger than Naruto? Hell yes. But it wasn't a total assbeat like everyone thinks..

I started seeing allot of misled people saying that minato, nagato, madara, etc can beat the SO6P in a 1v1 battle. When I hear this shit I just get a double face palm. How do you compare characters who barely reach a small portion of so6p. Yesterday I seen some idiot saying nagato can be beat so6p easily. Like wtf bro? If nagato can't even hold an incomplete kyubi in ct, then how the hell would he be able to go against someone who sealed the juiby in the god damn moon with a huge ct? Can that same person please explain this to me lol? I mean literally the man has the ability to breath life into things. He screwed the juuby single handily!
