The battle flashback is over but we didn't get to see when Mito sealed Kyuubi into herself. We didn't see the Kyuubi at all in those final panels, actually.

I know a lot of you may say it's unimportant but this disappointed me. What about you guys?

It has been a lot of talk about Mito sealing the kyuubi. But after putting Kurama to sleep, she didn't have to do that in the location. But it would have been fun to see Hashirama and Kakuzu fight.

i dont think the flashbacks were intended for anything new

but rather clarify what happened, and set the tone for the climax of the war, and to further Sasuke's new 'character devlopment' if you will

it is clear that hashi took kurama out of the fight. Probably, when hashi continued to fight madara, mito sealed kurama, to prevent it from being able to be summoned again by madara(she wouldve had no idea that madara would be "killed")

I wouldn't say 'fooled'. It was at the end of the fight. Both shinobi were exhausted. And if you look closely, I believe Madara didn't have his sharingan activated anymore.
