We witnessed the true powers of the two demigods namely madara and hashirama tho.

I couldn't care less about that. Both powers were expected. We've already seen the PS, so of course it was inevitable that Hashirama would possess such a power that could rival it.

Like I said, the only thing we were surprised about was Hashirama and Madara's extra siblings.

Okay, I'm going to say it straight, these flashbacks were pointless. We learned nothing new, only really finding out Madara and Hashirama had more siblings.

Come on, it was certainly useful for character development. ( in a strange Christopher Nolan like way but still )
