Yea, I'm trying to hold on to some faith in Kishi regarding this. We thought the Kaguya army and dimension jumping stuff were pointless but they turned out to be relevant in this story, so I'm holding on to faith that there was a point to all the drama beyond simply reuniting the Uchiha family and making Karin a red herring. He could've accomplished that in so many ways, yet he chose this route. But we shall see.

After this chapter I have zero hope for Kishi's writing. I am on the same bandwagon as those that say he should end Naruto. The guy keeps trolling the fanbase each time he creates a new chapter. This whole gaiden is going back and forth.

Edit: I have also begun to see some sort of pattern. This whole gaiden is about mommy and daddy. Just look at Chocho's jokes. They are all about finding her real dad.

Yea, I should probably switch to josei manga after this. Ifind that power levels and battles disinterest me. Hell, I can barely make out half the stuff that occur in those fights. I need color and movement. LOL

Omfg it's not just me. At the end Kishi got AWFUL with choreography and panels. Maybe bc every move was ambiguous asf and stuff like susanoo doesnt translate well to manga

Actually, you have a point. It could be that the Karin stuff was necessary to prompt Sarada to leave the village to find Sasuke....but...why go that route?....she already had angst about Sasuke's absence so he could've just had her leave the village to find him and leave Karin out of the equation.....

...take a moment to think like a writer....throwing Karin in the mix is for a reason....I'm not saying Karin is Sarada's mother (though I'm open to the possibility)....giving Sarada glasses is for a reason....giving Sarada shorts and leggings is for a reason....Sarada is a blend of all 3 of her possible parents.....Kishi did that for a reason....

.....what is the reason? Hell if I know....it could be just to screw with us like the NaruSaku moments.......or it might be for a better reason......just try not to dismiss the possibility that there's more to the story of Sarada's parentage.

I don't mind accepting the possibility although it's really looking slim, I just wanted to know why would you want that at this point.
