Giant Shuriken: What stands out the most about this jutsu is that it was used against me in my first fight when I had absolutely zero training, and had no way of defending myself from it, lmao. But anyway, it's throwing a weapon, namely a Demon Wind Shuriken which I'm sure you have to use, and expanding it mid-flight for more blunt damage than anything. I'm guessing you have to activate the ability within short-range of yourself, but after that it should be able to travel into long-range?

Let's see... because this is a technique is an expansion jutsu, I'm guessing it would also increase the weight of the Shuriken, meaning you'd be hard-pressed to stop this with anything outside of Earth related techniques. Also because of its size it could be used as a pseudo-cover of sorts. There's not really much going on with the jutsu itself, it's quite simple. I'm also pretty sure this could be used in conjunction with the Shadow Shuriken technique, for an even greater surprise that what it already would be. If I also had to guess, because of the size of a Demon Wind Shuriken which was already difficult to stop, this would be even more so to stop. Really I can't think of any ways right now to stop this technique without resorting to some higher level elemental techniques. The sheer size would be overwhelming to a lot of people, and thus makes it a good jutsu to use.

As for downsides, like a lot of techniques I don't see much downside to this. The jutsu itself seems limited to only using a Demon Wind Shuriken, so I'd like to know if you could use this with other simple weapons like kunai or normal shuriken. It's not so much a downside, but not everyone carries Demon Wind Shuriken with them since it's so big already. Another downside is that the expansion needs to be activated within short-range of throwing it, so it's something better utilized at a mid-range encounter, as opposed to something at long-range.

--

Aerial Dance: Seems simple enough, so I won't use much to describe it. In a sense, I'm throwing a lot of kunai (possibly other weapons) at my target. Pretty simple, I'd call this a lesser version of the Shuriken Shadow Clone technique, with the exception that you can't expand it over a wider area.

Personally I don't see myself using this jutsu a lot since I can already do the same thing to a greater degree, but I digress. It's a good idea against people who do like to use weapons, such as people who have drawn a sword of some sort and can't use hand seals. The idea that someone would be able to defend themselves from a barrage of kunai with nothing but a sword. If anything, it's a good ability to overwhelm your opponent when they're limited to their options.

Disadvantages... the fact that it's a technique that uses your chakra to augment how many kunai you throw (somehow) would mean that your chakra can't be used for anything else simultaneously. I'm also assuming that because it's specifically mentioned as a barrage, you'd be using both your hands and thus wouldn't be able to defend yourself properly from some other incoming attack. Again, I can't really write much about this. >_>

--

Manipulated Shuriken: Another very handy technique. I find this to be one of those jutsu that has an intended use, but doesn't necessarily have to be used in that way. Sure I can use it to attack someone in the back after an extended delay, but I'm not going to do that since it seems to be the most obvious ploy.

I'm guessing there are several ways of using the weapon. I know in the anime, Sasuke used a similar application to tie Orochimaru to a tree, where he was bound and couldn't use anything to get out of it, but that's only one way of using the technique. One of my favourite things about this, and possibly what stands out the most for me is the lack of a chakra cost, meaning this is a Ninjutsu which relies more on the user's creativity and skill with it, and you can perform other jutsu while this one is active. Personally I like the idea of using this more or less as a guide, getting your target to move the way you want them to. It's a key factor in controlling the flow of the fight, and this can easily achieve that.

I also really like how this doesn't seem to have a limit to how long you can use it. A skilled ninja could even use it all day if they wanted to, just to control the enemies motions and movements. There's also the fact that you're using a translucent string to use control the aforemented shuriken, meaning this is a hard technique to discern with the naked eye.

As for possible uses, like it's mentioned in the jutsu itself you can use this to strike someone from the front, and intentionally missing to hit them from the back instead. Another implication could be like I mentioned before: tying them up to a tree with this, or even just with the string itself. I'm not sure how durable the wire is, but considering it's elastic there's a good chance it'll be hard to break out of it. On that note, the elasticity would also mean using other parts of the terrain like trees and rocks to make a literal wire field, which would be another way of trapping your opponent. Touching base on the fact that there's no chakra cost could also mean using other techniques in order to control your opponent's movements, or even overwhelm them in more ways than one.

I'm not going to go on about this anymore, I don't want to reveal everything I want to do with this technique to you, who could possibly be a tough adversary in the future. ;)

As for disadvantages, it's a shuriken on a string. No matter how skilled or versatile you are with the ability, if someone manages to cut the wire with some sort of knife you're pretty much screwed over. But aside from that there's not much in the way of downsides to this technique. I'm sure there's a huge number of applications to this jutsu, and it's something I really plan on using a lot in the future.

Awesome analysis on these basic techniques, and LOL, we'll fight one day u-u. Inch actually used that last technique on me in the Iwa tourney, and his usage of it got me in a tight spot, and I kinda messed up time frame due to it, so it carries some weight for me (I came second in the tourney T_T ). Now come the many weapon techniques.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: C-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 5 (per tag)
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will use his chakra to hide a paper tag inside an inanimate object, like the ground or a wall. The tag can be a sealing tag or an explosive tag. The technique can be used to hide more than one tag per use if the user spends more chakra. Hidden tags can be detected by doujutsu or expert sensory ninjas.

A simple Ninjutsu technique where you will use your chakra, to hide a paper tag inside an inanimate object like a wall, or the ground, or even a tree. This can be any type of tag from an explosive tag, to a sealing tag. They can only be detected by a Doujutsu, or expert sensory ninjas. Pretty damn useful.

Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps up in the air and then spins at high speed throwing a lot of weapons at thier enemy ranging from shuriken, kunai, shuko and many various other weapons.

The previous technique you did with the last batch was just kunai, now this one is with a whole lot of weapons instead. You will jump into the air and spin as you release the weapons.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.

Lastly, a technique where you will utilize a scroll and rotate it around yourself, as you channel chakra into it. This allows you to release spiked metal balls from the scroll, which blast outwards from your person, and discourage the opponent from coming close to you.

Tag Hiding: I'm gonna have to refrain from saying I like every technique, otherwise this is gonna go on forever. >_> Anyways, it lets you hide tags inside solid objects using chakra. Whether the tags are basic like explosions, for Fuuinjutsu, or even hiding the credit card bill from your parents, there's lots of ways you can use this technique, especially when combined with certain Earth jutsu.

This is a good way of setting up a trap, even though those never work in our RP, or making certain Fuuinjutsu that rely on the use of tags that much harder to dispose of. I suppose something else that can be seen as somewhat advantageous is because you're hiding the tags underground, they're not exactly easy to deal with unless you manage to uproot them using Earth jutsu or something similar. That being said, it's still not a definite counter as the tags would still be intact, and can still be used as planned. The only way to really counter the technique is by destroying the tags before they're used, and even then you can't do that unless you have a Doujutsu or Sensory bio. In that respect it's nice, and I'll probably find many uses for it.

Nothing so disadvantageous about this jutsu, it's quite simple in terms of what to do with it.

--

Rising Dragon Dance: Look ma, I'm Tenten!

But really, this is another really good technique. A lot of creativity with it too, since it seems like you can throw more than "basic" weapons at your target. I'm not sure on the limitations of weapons of this technique, but perhaps certain bigger weapons like naginata, kama and staves can't be used with it. I'm not 100% sure if this comes out of a scroll or not, I'm assuming it would, can you clarify for me?

One big thing that sticks out to me is the jumping in itself. Since it's part of the jutsu, I'd have to say that the point of this is to get an aerial advantage and use that against your target, bombarding them with various weapons. Honestly I talked about this before, so I'm not going to go into too much detail about it again. <_<

I do have a couple of questions regarding the jutsu, however.
  • Can this be used as a defense against incoming jutsu? For example, you throw a fireball at me, I use this to jump and throw weapons at you.
  • Can the weapons be attached to wires in order to guide them?
--

Deadly Spheres Strike:
Pretty simple. You pull out a scroll, focus chakra into it and realise these large balls that you can hit your target with. In some situations, they might be better than others, but I'll leave that up to your imagination.

This could probably be used to deter certain jutsu, preferably Earth related techniques, and just to keep your target at bay. The weapons would be big and heavy enough to likely shatter bones should your opponent come head on with Taijutsu, and that's always nice. There's a few ways to use this jutsu, not that I'd use it much just because while it does have a few uses, they're all pretty underwhelming in the end.

Again, not many disadvantages that I can think of here. They're large spheres that hit the target, and not much else. There's a short-range on them, likely due to the weight so they wouldn't be able to get thrown very far. They're also quite limited as to what you can do with them, unless you're really creative.

I'm tired. z_z

Man, these analysis' keep getting better O-O. Nonetheless, for your questions; first one, no, that has been ruled invalid by today's standards due to people using some techniques where you jump first and then do it, to dodge other techniques that move in a linear fashion, and secondly, there is a separate technique that does that, so no. Oh. and its not from scrolls, just like that they are thrown. Pretty weird, I know.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.

More weapons techniques, and these utilize scrolls too. You will unroll two scrolls on the ground beneath the opponent, and summon a large amount of weapons from them. This blasts the opponent into the air, and then from the scrolls, a chain bursts forth, and grabs the opponent by the leg and pulls them back to the ground.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description:The user takes out a big scroll and waves it in a circle. It turns into a giant chain hammer with a huge metal ball at the end that they then crushes the enemy with. After this move, the chain hammer turns back into a scroll.

A technique where you will use a scroll and wave it in a circle. This scroll will then form into a giant hammer, with a huge metal ball at the end, which can be used to crush the opponent. After it has been used, it turns back into a scroll. Nothing too spectacular here.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: This technique is very similar to Twin Rising Dragons, but in this version the user only summons countless kunai from the scrolls, which are connected by strings at thier hands. They then throws all the kunai at the same time on the opponent.

Okay, so correction, this technique only summons a large amount of kunai from scrolls and are launched towards the opponent. They are connected to the users' hands by strings which blasts towards the opponent, and can be controlled. Pretty useful.

All these Bukijutsu just seem like there's one superior jutsu, while the rest are kind of mediocre compared to it. >.>

Floating Blades Wall: Honestly just from the name this seemed more like a defensive technique than an offensive one. Nevertheless, I don't like the sound of it because it just involves a lot of legwork. Bukijutsu should be something can use with little to no effort, not having to set up scrolls underneath my target, and then using the jutsu. That being said, I don't see a lot of use for this at all.

Not many advantages here. If anything, maybe it could be combined with the likes of Tag Hiding, and I'm seriously stretching it there in order to create a trap that has to be self activated. But aside from that, there's not much about this that I can see. There's still creativity with the technique in the sense that you can still choose the weapons that are being used, and with that can augment the outcome. But aside from that I won't use this at all, probably.

You have to set it up underneath your target for it to work, which typically means either getting your target airborne and then applying this technique to them, or setting a trap like I mentioned before. Too much legwork for it, I don't wanna go on about it.

--

Giant Iron Lump: Finally a jutsu I can see myself using. One thing that stands out about this is a jutsu which incorporates the scroll as the actual weapon, making this seem closer to a transformation jutsu than sealing. With that, the technique is one that is a lot easier to keep on one's person and is much harder to manipulate from the target's point of view. Whereas other Bukijutsu would leave weapons lying around, this doesn't and I like that.

That would be the main advantage I would think. Furthermore, it's a weapon on a chain capable of reaching up to mid-range. This makes it an amicable ability for almost anyone to use, and doesn't require a lot of preparation. If I compared this to the Manipulated Shuriken Jutsu from earlier, this can't exactly be damaged as easy either, because it's completely made of metal. Unless the target was capable of using Chidorigatana, it wouldn't exactly be an easy thing to counter. The raw force alone would make it ideal for a lot of situations.

There's also a lot of creativity here with how you can use it, as opposed to what you're using, like other Bukijutsu. While others are straightforward, this is a little vague.

Disadvantages are while the technique says Short-Mid range, I find it hard to use something like this up close. The main attraction of the Jutsu is the fact that it's a giant ball, likely to be heavy, and as such you want to be using that momentum and weight to suppress your target's movements. Having it in short-range would defeat the purpose of it's intention.

--

One Thousand Blades Attack: Twin Rising Dragons but with kunai. I'd much rather not talk about Jutsu which are almost the same thing twice in a row, so if you don't mind I'll leave this until then where I'll go more in depth about this as well.

I have a question about these Bukijutsu in general. How do we apply the range to the battle itself? Because they're weapons, and not (somewhat) tangible techniques, can the ranges be extended to suit our needs? Of course I mean this in a perfectly logical way. For example: I'm airborne above my target in mid-range, and use a short-range Bukijutsu to essentially rain down upon them. Would the gravitational force work with that and the weapons still hit, or something else completely? Or is it that the ranges are applied to the summoning of these weapons, since most of them require that?

Good job, and yeah, most Bukijutsu might as well just be Long Range but I believe that the ranges are there based on how the techniques were used in the manga/anime/game they are adapted from. But yeah, your reasoning is sound on that.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
description: The user summons a long chain from a scroll and wraps the enemy with it. When the enemy is trapped, they use another scroll to launch a rain of weapons at the enemy.

A technique where you will utilize a scroll once more, and summon a long chain from said scroll. This wraps around the opponent, and then allows you to use another scroll to launch another rain of weapons at the opponent.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user and either there summon or a partner combine into one transformation.
Note: Must have a summoning or partner to use this jutsu.

A simple Ninjutsu technique, where you and your partner, or summon, will combine into one transformation. This technique is very vague, and there has been countless debates onto what is feasible when you are transformed, and what is not. So if you have questions on this, ask me, and I'll direct them to the higher ups.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user can take on the properties of any earthen material they touch and harden any part of there body. This jutsu also lets the user turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu. The issue with using this technique is that the user will gain all the weaknesses of the material they mimic, even if they are granted their strengths.

Another cool technique where you will be able to take on any property of an Earthen material that you touch, and harden a body part of yours with it. However, you gain all the strengths, and weaknesses of the material you become. Also keep in mind that it is merely a C rank technique, as well.

Iron Chain Wrapping: Yet another ambiguous Bukijutsu which seems straight forward, yet something I'd never really use. These ranges should really be cleared up tbh. It's annoying that I don't know the real ranges of these weapons, which makes them next to useless because you know some people are going to abuse you if you don't use them within short-range.

Your typical advantages are that it's a Bukijutsu, and therefore can be used in a multitude of ways depending on the user's creativity. I'd assume the "weapons" summoned from the second scroll have to be considered basic, but the ambiguous wording also means that you can use really whatever you want with it. You can summon kunai for a direct attack, or shuriken for something a little more tricky, or even other weapons you can think of. There's a lot you can do, I'd have to do a little more research of Bukijutsu weapons before I would decide personally what to do with it. Another thing I've noticed is that this seems to be the only Bukijutsu so far that binds the target, which can be quite handy for people who want to specialize in the art.

Disadvantages... Well I'd assume one big thing is the chain used to bind the target with would be metallic, making it susceptible to electricity. If your opponent is capable of flowing Lightning jutsu through to you, well you'd be having a bad time. But aside from that there's not much I can think of in terms of weaknesses. It's still only a Bukijutsu, and can easily be bested with Wind or Earth jutsu.

--

Combination Transformation: The more advanced version of the Transformation Jutsu, where you can use two figures in order to transform into something else. I'd assume this would broaden the options of what you could transform into, just because you're using two people with a bigger chakra pool, as opposed to a single person. There's not much to say about this that isn't already easily covered in the E-Rank variation, so I'm not going to touch base on this. It really seems like something I'd never use at all. There's no reason to when I don't really have a partner or a summon to transform with.

--

Assimilate All Creation: This seems like it would be an interesting jutsu to use in all sorts of areas. To be able to transform your own body to anything you desire, so long as you can physically touch it and it's earthen in property, it seems like it would be really neat in a lot of different situations. Whether it be solid rock, or grainy sand, or anything the user can think of that's in front of them would be really cool. You could even use pseudo Sand jutsu if you wanted to, granted you have the proper Assimilate All Creation technique ready to use.

Your advantages here are turning into the element you want, granted it's of earthen nature. This could potentially strengthen your Taijutsu attacks if you were touching solid rock, or even something else like throwing dust in your target's eyes. It's a clever technique that even though it's "merely a C-Rank" (though you did lose to a D-Rank jutsu), there's a lot of really niche uses for it, and I'll definitely be exploring this technique a lot, and with what I can do with it.

Disadvantages are that your body itself becomes weak to whatever it is that you're trying to become. Because this is mostly to do with Earth Release, it makes you highly susceptible to Lightning Release jutsu. Also I'm not really sure if it's a weakness or not, but it might be that you can't use other things while this is active? I'm not too sure on this, but it seems like something interesting.

I do have a few questions about this particular jutsu, seeing as it's so incredibly diverse with what you can do with it.
  • What exactly constitutes as "earthen material"? I know it means rocks and dirt, but how far can this be extended? Could you possibly transform your body into wood, or even metal?
  • How long does this last?

Great job, as usual. If only all my students could write this much, and elaborate on basic techniques like you do. Nonetheless, for your questions. I'd say that the technique constitutes Earthen material as anything that is based upon Earth itself, as you said, wood and plants, for example. As for how long it lasts, its indefinite, but go with the turn it is used, for now.

Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user throws nails into the air. Upon impact on the ground, they dig themselves into the earth. When the opponent walks over the ground where the nails dug themselves in, nails pin their feet stopping their movement. Then, the user forms a hand seal and hundreds of nails shoot out of the ground at the opponent.

Throw some nails into the air, and once they impact the ground, they dig themselves deep into the ground. When the opponent crosses the area where the nail is, and it pins their feet, stopping them in their tracks. After a hand seal is formed, hundreds of nails shoot up from the ground, impaling the opponent.

Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: After forming the needed hand seal, the user will emit a flying mist of small nails from their mouth. These small nails can travel towards the opponent at quite a distance.

Form a single hand seal, and emit from your mouth, a mist of flying nails. The nails can travel quite far, and are kind of obscured. Great to use with Hiding in the Mist technique, to be honest.

Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After throwing a special umbrella that has been equipped with springs into the air, it releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra.

Now this technique, you will throw a special umbrella into the air. This umbrella has been equipped with springs, and some senbon, which are released in the air, and causes a shower of senbon onto the opponent. All controlled by chakra, making it pretty cool.

Torpedo Needle: Another trap based jutsu, so it'll be hard to implement this in an actual battle. I do like the concept behind how it works, and would love to try and implement this in a battle somehow, but because of it's nature there doesn't seem like a lot you can really do with it. I really can't write much about something that doesn't have a lot of practical use.

I think the main advantage would be that should you be successful in pulling it off, it wouldn't exactly be easy to avoid it. Because it's not technically classed as a Fuuinjutsu like most traps are, there's no discernable signs of the technique actually being used and set up beforehand, making it great to use within stealth tactics. Unless your opponent sees you set it up, there's not much that can be done to avoid it. Another thing which makes this really damn good is that it traps your target where they are, leaving them a sitting duck when the jutsu does set off. Meaning you can use more techniques that require precision in that respect, making it a good compliment to a lot of jutsu, specifically Earth Release. While it's not too much of an advantage, I think the fact that this can only be seen by Doujutsu and sensors like the Tag Hiding would come off as really handy as well.

I take back saying this is a bad technique, analysing it even further makes me really like it!

As for disadvantages, the fact that it's a premade trap is most likely the biggest disadvantage, especially in our RP where everyone knows everything. No one's foolish enough to walk into a trap they know about. It would require some level of setup, in terms of forcefully moving your opponent to where you want them to be. Although this isn't really another disadvantage, but because these techniques are merely nails, I'm guessing there wouldn't be any kind of lethal force in the move.

After using this technique, is the move activated by itself, or is that something I have to do remotely with my own chakra?

--

Flying Nail Mist Pierce: It's a simple directional move, like the D-Rank version that uses senbon instead, and has an increased range. Because the nails are small, they aren't the easiest to perceive, especially combined with Hidden Mist like you said, or smoke bombs even if you don't want to spend an additional move.

I covered most of the strengths and weaknesses in the last nail move, so I won't talk about this one much. It's got increased range, but at the same time doesn't have any kind of lethal power behind the move. It's still got uses in certain situations, but there's not much to talk about aside from that. It's basic, and I've covered everything before.

--

Sprinkling Needles: This is a technique which seems like it's something only those allied with Amegakure would use, as they're the only ones who get these special umbrellas with the senbon inside. Nevertheless it's got some semblence of use in a battle. It's the type of attack that can be used omnidirectionally, and isn't exactly easy to avoid unless you get a full body armor to deflect it.

Advantages... I'd say the ability to control the senbon with your chakra is really handy. The ability to control exactly where the weapons go without any kind of help like metal wire, or chakra threads can go a long way. Because of this, the needles can attack the target from any direction they want, and because of the nature that the weapon holds there's also plenty of lethal force behind the attack as well. It's useful, but because I don't carry a special umbrella I wouldn't be able to use this. Seems like it's very nice, however.

There's not much to say for disadvantages, aside from the senbon probably don't exactly move fast. The umbrella is also stagnant while the technique is active, making it an easy thing to destroy if you had to. There's plenty of projectiles that can ruin the origin of the needles, which can end the technique prematurely if need be. However, there's not much aside from that. The technique is rather weak and the needles can be stopped easily through some kind of absolute defense, or weak Wind jutsu to blow them away. Unlike kunai, senbon don't carry much weight behind them, and thus would be easier to stop.

Good job, and it requires chakra.

(Kao Utsushi no Jutsu) - Face Copy Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique allows the user to take on the body of their target. They must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The user will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately, the user does not copy the targets jutsu, leaving them with only their original skills. Practitioners of this jutsu are also skilled in quickly taking on the mannerisms of the original person and playing up the character traits of their target. Through a regular Henge in combination, they can copy the clothing of the opponent. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days.

A technique where you will shape and contort your face, in order to resemble the face of the opponent. Its basically a Henge of the face, and makes it quite difficult for someone to notice that you copied it from someone else, great for NW infiltration, but then again, everyone knows things these days.

(Soushouryuu) - Twin Rising Dragons
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: A summoning technique meant almost exclusively for weapon's experts. To begin, the shinobi will remove two scrolls and set them on the ground, after forming the necessary hand seals, the two scroll rise into the air and begin to swirl around a middle vortex that is the user. They then use this space to launch themselves into the air between the spinning scrolls. From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

A technique where you will remove some scrolls, place them onto the ground and form hand seals. This causes the scrolls to rise up and swirl around you in a vortex like manner, where you will then jump upwards between the scrolls. You will then summon a large amount of weapons from the scrolls, and launch them towards the opponent. Due to wires connected to the weapons, you can control them.

(Soushuuha) - Manipulate Advancing Blades
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: This technique allows a shinobi to hover multiple kunai in the air while they approach a target. The technique allows a ninja to unleash a torrent of kunai, shuriken, or other weapons much more quickly than if each was thrown individually.

Lastly, a technique where you will use your chakra to hover some kunai in the air, and unleash them towards the opponent with much more ease. Other small weapons can also be used for this technique.

Face Copy: I guess this is a more advanced version of the Transformation technique, seeing that the description says you take on the appearance of the whole body. I think one thing that's most noticeable about this jutsu itself is that it's longer lasting than the parent technique, making this better for some situations. Not much more to say, it's an alternative (lol) version of the Transformation jutsu, so it's got some uses but not many. Like you say, good for NW infiltration but that's about it.

--

Twin Rising Dragons: Yes, the big parent technique in regards to throwing weapons out of scrolls. I actually watched this episode quite recently, it was the big finishing move Tenten had used against Temari during the Chunin Exams, although it didn't quite finish her off or anything. A move with quite a large range and lots of breathing room in terms of what you can and can't do with it, so I can see myself using this a lot. Basically it's a large shower of weapons, which can range from anything from kunai and shuriken, to more complex stuff that might not be easily carried on the person such as demon wind shuriken, tanto and steel balls. There's just a lot you can do with this that requires imagination and general knowledge of Bukijutsu.

I want to know one thing, I'm assuming that the initial chakra cost for the technique comes purely from the summoning of the tools itself, so perhaps you can perform this with other forms of jutsu... Anyway, I do like that this is almost an endless barrage of attacks, which would leave the target to do nothing but defend against it. That, and also if for some reason the target is able to avoid the attack, you can just use it again and again without the cost of a moveslot which is always really nice.

One thing that stands out to me about this technique is quite similar to how I could use Manipulated Shuriken (gg sensei) would be in the strings. In a sense, it's like that but because of the amount of weapons being used, it's also much more effective. While this is mostly an offensive move, using the wires I could use them as guides for other incoming jutsu, namely Lightning Release techniques. I suppose other things I could do with the technique is some kind of binding, or at least preventing my target from moving/getting them to move the way I want them to. Seeing as the technique is total control of these weapons from a long range, it could be quite possible to do that.

As for downsides to this technique, one thing that strikes me the most is the aerial advantage from this technique. While that would give you the upper hand usually, the major fall of that is you've rendered yourself difficult to move which leaves you susceptible to projectile attacks. This is also favored by the fact that for the most part you're staying still in the air somehow. I should also mention that these are just weapons, so they can be easily knocked away by Wind Release techniques.

Still, it's a technique I would like to utilize in battle all the time, there's definitely some niche uses in there which can help you turn the tides of battle.

--

Manipulate Advancing Blades: I think from memory this is a technique Chiyo uses in the games where she throws kunai, but delays the time that she launches them, allowing for an attack from another direction at the same time. This seems to be bordering the lines of Magnetism Release, but I digress. This has quite a few uses, I'd love to know the extent you can use this jutsu in. For example, what kinds of weapons can this be applied to. I know you say small weapons, so I'm assuming that would only include things like Shuriken and Makibishi. Could this potentially be applied to things like smoke or light bombs? Just some food for thought...

Anyway, the main distinct advantage of this technique is like you said, the ability to throw multiple kunai or other weapons at the same time. The jutsu itself seems handy in the sense that you can throw from more than one direction at a time, which makes it difficult to avoid this attack completely unscathed. Though this depends on how you use it of course. While there doesn't seem to be much use out of this technique that strikes it as unique, I'm sure I could come up with something in the heat of a battle.

As for disadvantages, there's the fact that this makes the attack clear as day. It's not just throwing a kunai at someone, it's closer to seeing someone ready a ballista to fire at you. This means the target has plenty of time to defend against the technique itself, which is unfortunate. However, if you can limit how he can defend against it, you can use it to your advantage and counter with an appropriate jutsu. There's not much more to say about this. :/

Question about this: can you use this in conjunction with other Bukijutsu? Say, using it on weapons coming out of a scroll to halt an attack, or even using it on a scroll itself so you can control when the attack comes out?

Since it uses chakra itself, it can't be used with something else (like another technique, free form it can), and I can agree that it can be used to levitate some small objects like smoke bombs and the like. Amazing analysis though.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. The exploding tags that the Third Hokage used were different than the usual bomb tags, being yellow in color instead of white with a red border.

Using your chakra, you can activate some special bomb tags. First used by Sarutobi, and are different in terms of their explosive capability, and also their color (which sets them apart, and allows for some metagaming ~_~). Pretty cool though, and look at the range.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15

Description: The user will jump into the air and begin spinning around rapidly whislt releasing a continous amount of kunai converging in all directions around them.

Jump into the air, spin around at fast speeds, and launch some kunai towards the opponent. However, ti does state that it converges in all directions around them. So that could mean that it is pretty widespread.

Rank: C

Lastly, a technique where you use your chakra to project an image of yourself in the sky. This can be used to send a message, or simply to talk some shit to someone in another village while you are far away. Pretty cool as well.

The first one: I'm not really sure how this really differs from the typical throwing an explosive tag and setting it off remotely, unless you can't do that now which means this seems like a really good technique to use. I guess the means of it being long range would say you could set off distant explosions. That could be useful in the NW if you wanted to commit some kind of terrorist attack on someone from far away, even several landmarks away if you wanted to, and because of the distance there's nothing anyone could do about it. Although I'm not sure how plausible that would be, but it's interesting to think about. Easily it could be combined with the Tag Hiding technique to do something completely devastating.

The most notable advantage like I said is being able to set explosive tags off at a distance. How big that distance is, I'm not too sure but it'd be fun to experiment with it, especially in places like the NW where people may not look at everything you're doing. Aside from that, there's not much you can really do with it. Delayed explosions is really nice and can set up for some really nice moves, but thats about it really. Disadvantages are kind of null here, there's not much I can think of that would put yourself in a disadvantageous position.

If there's one thing I can see myself using with this, it's most likely in a combination with certain Bukijutsu. I know there was one filler episode where Tenten uses explosive tags on a giant metal ball in order to get it to move in a way she wants. A similar application could be used in a fight here, though it would be extremely hard to pull off. If I could do that however, it would be really nice to see what exactly I could do with this.

Questions: What exactly is the difference between this technique and a normal explosive tag? And how many applications of this can you use without expending more moves?

--

Spinning Waltz Dance: This seems like a good technique, although outclassed by some others. This reminds me of the one where you use the umbrella to release senbon, except with this one you don't get to control the weapons using your chakra. Still this has its niche and you can use it in certain situations. I particularly find this to be useful in certain ways where you may not be able to see your target, such as Leech All Creation or Hiding in Camouflage. These are the only two real examples I'd see myself using them. Since I've touched base on previous techniques which are similar, I think I'll leave it at that.

--

Tyrants Calling: This seems more or less one of those techniques that doesn't really seem like it would be useful aside for aesthetic purposes or in the NW, so because I don't really participate in it (although I would like to one day), this doesn't really seem like something I'd use very often. I'm not quite sure how this would be used as a diversionary tactic, since the technique is quite big and formiddable, but wouldn't necessarily hide your presence or divert an oncominc attack. Just seems like something that doesn't see much use.

I don't even want to touch on this, in the heat of a battle there really isn't much in terms of what you can actually do with it, so really there's not much in terms of advantages and whatnot. If anything, I guess it would be best to hide your true location, could even fool people into going places that you aren't. Despite that it wouldn't work because of metagaming and shit but still. It'd be fun to use this to start a war if anything.

A normal explosive tag doesn't have a quantifiable amount of damage that it does, whilst this does and I'd say you can use multiple of them, and only post the technique once. Then post it again when you detonate it. And good job, man. Let's move on.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will throw three paper bombs connected to kunai that act like parachutes and float down above the enemy. The user will then make the confrontation hand seal to explode the explosive tags when they reach their desired location.

Throw three papers bombs connected to kunai, which will act as parachutes and float down towards the opponent. With a single hand seal, this can be caused to explode. A pretty simple technique, and allows for some delay before an actual explosion happens.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another passive object and take on its properties to avoid any damage. While merged, the user is virtually undetected unless the enemy has a doujutsu. Even chakra sensors won't be able to pinpoint the users position. The limitation of the technique is that to use a technique and mold chakra, the user must fully unmerge although doing so doesn't produce any sound and the user can only be sensed once fully unmerged. The user is still aware of the world outside the object and can travel inside it at his normal running speed. The technique was used so far by 3 ninjas (Yamato, Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara) but as an advanced ninjutsu, it can be used by any skilled enough ninja.
Note: the user must be Sannin Rank and above
Note: Orochimaru and Yamato can use it 5 times per battle, Uchiha Madara can use it 3 times, other ninjas can use it twice.
Note: Cannot merge into mediums which aren't tangible

A cool technique where you use your chakra to merge and take on the properties, of a tangible passive object like the ground. Once merged, you can't be detected by Doujutsu or sensory but you have to emerge fully before you can use a technique. You move at your normal speed inside the object merged.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
After doing the Ram seal, the user will put his palm close to a hidden explosive tag or sealing tag and will draw it out towards his hand. If the tag is inside a solid object it will warp through it towards the users palm. The technique disables the tag as it draws near the users hand in the case its an explosive tag.

Remember the Tag Hiding technique? This is the reverse of that, where you will form a hand seal and put your palm close to the where the tag is hidden and bring forth the tag from its hiding place. This technique disables it, so it won't explode or seal you, or whatever the seal was aimed at doing.

Falling Paper Bomb: I think this technique is interesting in the fact that it has a delayed explosion. I also feel like there's quite a bit you can do with it. While it's easily countered, the fact that it doesn't use chakra means it'd be nice for combination techniques. Using it in conjunction with an Earth dome for example, could alleviate any outside wind affecting the parachutes from the tags drifting off it's intended course. Using a Wind Release technique could also potentially extend the delay of the detonation, or increase the range of the move itself possibly. There's a lot you can do with this, thats for sure.

I think the main advantage of the technique which I believe we're both in consensus about is the fact that it can create a delayed explosion. That's about it really, lmao. There's lots of room for combinations regarding this technique, but nothing too flashy or anything. Personally I'd combine this with Godly Wind from the Mountain to extend the range of the parachutes, but there's some others that work exceptionally well. This could probably also work well as a diversionary tactic, with delayed explosions lining up with something else coming from an unexpected angle.

Does this constitute as a "basic weapon"? For example, can this be combined with Manipulate Advancing Blades, or Shuriken Shadow Clone?

--

Cheap Obito Phasing: This is a technique I've seen quite a few people using around just because it's so good and versatile. The ability to phase into anything you want, and move around seems pretty overpowered if you ask me. Though because of the nature of the jutsu I probably wouldn't use this unless there was something you can't avoid whatsoever. Certain forbidden rank jutsu which have too high damage points for you to defend against, others which may create massive damage, and so on are likely the best times when you'd want to use this jutsu. Though I did call it cheap Obito phasing, it's nothing like it really. It's held more akin to Zetsu's Mayfly, or Earth Projection Fish just because it lets you phase into an object.

Aside from that, the fact that you can phase into absolutely anything that is tangible is just beautiful. This makes it really great for covert assassinations, sneaking around or even intelligence gathering. You can use it to get away from a fight, to get the upper hand in a fight, or possibly to gain an upper ground. Things like forested areas this could be used to climb a tree into an area where you couldn't be seen. If you're in a huge forest, such as one similar to the Forest of Death, you could potentially use this to gain a slight advantage over those who could usually see you, but can't now. The fact that this technique seems to fool chakra sensors as well as Doujutsu like the Sharingan and possibly even the Byakugan (would like some clarity on this). While it's not used in the specific fight, I recall Neji fighting Kidomaru, where the latter was able to get a distinct advantage on Neji just because he wasn't able to see where he was. In big crowded areas like forests and other similar lands without much open clearings is where this jutsu could possibly be used to the fullest extent.

How fast is the merging/unmerging of this? I think I remember somewhere saying it was quite slow, but I'm not too sure.

--

Tag Extraction: This doesn't seem like a useful technique unless you're well aware of explosive tags or other hidden Fuuinjutsu tags in the Ninja World. Given that this is our RP and everyone knows everything, of course we know about all these hidden tags. Still, this holds no real use in the middle of a battle since if I remember correctly, this is quite slow and requires a precise amount of time and concentration to extract the tags. I do like how it disables the tag completely, rendering it moot. I wonder if that particular effect would work on just normal tags, as opposed to just "extracting" the seals. Which gives me another thought to if this could even potentially be applied to Fuuinjutsu marks on the body...

Again, I'm probably stretching what you can do with this technique, but it would be cool if it could happen.

Awesome, man. First question, I would say, no. I would constitute it as being pretty average in terms of speed, its not very fast but it isn't considerably slow either.

OH, and I mis-typed there with Leech All Creation xD While merged, the user is virtually undetected unless the enemy has a doujutsu. So Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan can still see ya.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (total chakra is divided by the final number of clones plus the user)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

A very famous technique, where you will use your chakra to create a clone of yourself that has real form and substance. The clone divides your chakra, and can bleed and if they are dispersed, they return 10% of your chakra. Also, they return information they have gathered.

Description: This summoning creates a demonic form of the main gate of old Kyoto, which is capable of blocking almost any attack. The Rashomon stands tall and wide covering a range of about 10 meters in width and height.
Note: This technique can only block B rank and below.

A simple technique where you will "summon" a demonic gate which is able to block B rank and below techniques. This gate is 10 meters in width and height, and makes for a pretty good defense.

Rank: B
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: short
Chakra cost: 20

Description: After performing the needed hand seals the user can manipulate metal strings to form a protective dome. This dome is capable of repelling most basic Taijutsu attacks up to A rank. The user can reshape the wire within the dome, changing it to a binding string with ease, however it is weak to lightning based techniques.

After forming the needed hand seals, you will manipulate metal strings (????) to form a protective dome, either around you where it can protect you against Taijutus hits, or trap both you and the opponent where you can then use the wires to bind the opponent.

Shadow Clone: Well it's pretty famous alright, most - if not everyone has used it at least once. Honestly speaking though this is one of the most versatile ninjutsu people can use, just because there's so much you can use with it. Typically there's a lot you can do with this, the main thing being the ability to use any and all techniques the user knows. But then again this is all limited to the user's imagination just like a lot of other abilities. One thing that stands out about this is the ability to use some higher levels of Ninjutsu that require more than one person. There's quite a few Fire Release techniques that need more than one person to perform, so this kind of alleviates the problem. It's still a lot of work for a single jutsu, but it's all nice. So yeah, combination jutsu is one of the more significant uses of the Shadow Clone. Whether it be Fire/Wind, Water/Lightning or anything you can think of.

There's the ability to use these in aid of Taijutsu attacks. Naruto's used this method quite a lot in the manga, using his Shadow Clones to physically move himself out of the way of an incoming technique. In the games he's shown using the Shadow Clones as physical projectiles, throwing them at his opponent which is also really neat.

One of my favorite uses of the Shadow Clone is to use it as a release method for Genjutsu. Because the clone on "death" returns some of its chakra back to the user, they're able to use it as an amicable surge and easily release themselves from the illusion. Either that or using other ways of release, either through the standard Kai which I'm not 100% sure if it can be performed on other people, or through physical pain. A clone can easily hit someone with some kind of weapon or force to break the user out of an illusion. The main problem with that would be that the clone likely wouldn't know that the user was in an illusion if they aren't also in it.

Other uses which I won't go into too much detail are you can use clones to fight in much more dangerous situations where you might die, or even just taking a jutsu entirely.

The main disadvantage of this technique is not really a problem but can be classed as one. The clones all have equal amounts of chakra to the user. For myself who is Sannin rank, that would be roughly 500-600 chakra each if I used it at the beginning of the fight and created only a single clone. For something that's so versatile, it really means you have to control your chakra consumption when using clones, especially since you don't get it all back. It's a huge loss to fights which might get drawn out for a long time. It has its uses in the middle of a fight, but at the same time it's completely situational.

I guess my biggest questions is in regards to the clones disappearing is what happens afterwards? I'm well aware that they only return 10% of their own chakra back to the user, but what about if the clone disperses on its own accord? I'm not sure if that can happen in our RP, but theoretically speaking we'd only get 10% of the chakra back regardless of how its dispersed?

--

Rashomon: I like this technique and its children (Triple Rashomon, Quintuple Rashomon) a lot, just because of the defensive capabilities it has. As a purely defensive technique, this can block elemental jutsu of equal rank, regardless of what it is. Pretty neat if I do say so myself. If anything, it could also diffuse higher ranked techniques as well, which might make them more managable in some cases.

This technique is big, capable of stopping oher big jutsu from coming at you. Considering that the B-Rank is when these kinds of techniques start to increase tremendously in size, it's handy. While Rashomon is capable of that, it's also got other factors to include. The main thing I could see is that because it's big, the Rashomon can block people's peripheral view of you. Typically speaking, this can hide yourself from Sharingan and Rinnegan users from seeing where you are and hide what you're doing, such as hand seals or preparing weapons. The Rashomon gates can also be used as pillars to physically avoid techniques coming at you. You can't change the shape like other elemental ninjutsu, but it's still something to note.

There isn't some kind of summoning contract for this is there? I'd like to be able to experiment with CJ based on the Rashomon gates.

--

Wire Cage: Mostly used as a counter for Taijutsu, this technique is pretty capable in its own right. I'd assume the kind of Taijutsu would refer strictly to that which doesn't use chakra unless the defense against that is lower, but all in all it's a pretty neat technique. A binding agent is included in this as well, if someone tried to throw a punch at you, this can really just cushion the blow and hold their arm forcefully. Great for a follow up technique where someone wouldn't be able to defend against it properly.

It's weak to lightning which kinda sucks. I dunno how many people would react to this using Nagashi or something, would just be a pain in the ass to deal with.

Nope, this is not a viable method in the RP. The clone can use Kai, or Pain on you though.

With this technique, you will first have to have a Shadow Clone on the field. You will grab the clone, and form it into a FUma Shuriken, which is then launched towards the opponent. Once it gets close enough, it then changes back and hits the opponent in the face. A kunai can be added for extra effect.

That's kinda silly. Wouldn't that method still technically be considered a pseudo usage of Release, even if it means still posting the technique? Eh I'm not complaining, not much of a Shadow Clone person anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Demon Wind Bomb: I have absolutely no idea why this is B-rank, you can literally do the exact same thing with the standard transformation technique and achieve the same result. I'm pretty sure I've spoken about this specific execution as well, but I'll go over it again. From a manga standpoint, this is iconic as the ninjutsu Sasuke and Naruto performed together for the first time. Sasuke threw a Demon Wind Shuriken at Zabuza which he was able to anticipate and jump over. Meanwhile it transformed back into Naruto and he threw a kunai at his blind spot. While you don't have to perform those exact actions like throwing a kunai or whatever, you can use it in conjunction with other techniques. This makes for a great two-pronged attack.

Going on the two-pronged attack makes this an incredibly wonderful move in essence. While its impossible for this to be applied in the same manner (in this case, Zabuza jumping over the shuriken) thanks to how the RP works, there's other ways that can be worked around. Shuriken in general are more aerodynamic than other weapons; Demon Wind Shuriken wouldn't be any different from this. It could potentially fly around the target to cause the same effect. Then you could cause a big two-pronged attack that would be incredibly difficult to work around.

The fact that this jutsu requires you to create a Shadow Clone beforehand is a big drawback. A lot of techniques which require some sense of pre-preparation like clones or other similar things are usually annoying to start using. It's not so much of a disadvantage but more like a sense of metagaming in our RP, but people are going to know this is a clone in disguise, and could easily attack it head on. It'd be dangerous but a widespread jutsu would easily take care of the clone and such. Still there's some niche in this technique and given the situation has presented itself right, I'm sure I'll use it at some point.

--

Iron Protection Wall: I don't want to go too in depth with this technique, it's just too simple and straightforward to mention too much about it. Simply put it creates a dome which covers you and can protect from attacks of the same rank. It's simple. The biggest downside is that it doesn't defend against attacks that come from underneath you, and given you're completely covered you wouldn't be able to see if any such attack has been initiated. Once again, it's got a niche which can be used sometimes, but for the most part this isn't really a powerrful technique as such. People can easily exploit this against you.

If I do have one question about this, how does it play against elemental strengths and weaknesses? I'm assuming it would be universally strong against everything of equal or lower rank, or is it perhaps stronger against Ninjutsu?

Neutral to everything, as is Ninjutsu.

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user uses two scrolls and makes multiple weapons come out from them and float in the air. After the final blade causes the opponent to fly up into the air, The user uses a chain to bring their opponent down to the ground and then hits them again with the weapons. Using this attack allows the user to summon more weapons than usual for subsequent attacks.

This technique is simple, you will use two scrolls and focus your chakra to them. This causes multiple weapons to emerge from them, and float into the air, hitting the opponent up. As the opponent cause airborne, you will use a chain (which comes from the scroll) and pull the opponent down into the weapons for more damage. This can be done again and again.

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user summons several weapons connected together by strings and jumps into the air, reeling them together to stack on top of each other. They then stands on the top weapon on one foot, and twirls backwards, shooting the string-wealed ninja tools at the opponent like a machine gun.

The weirdest technique around, where you will summon a large amount of weapons, all connected by string. You will then jump into the air, and reel them together, causing them to stack on top of each other, forming into a structure of sorts. You will then stand on top of the structure of weapons, and perform a flip like action, which shoots the weapons towards the opponent like a machine gun. Quite weird technique overall, but it basically uses the strings connected to the weapons, and connected to your leg, if you flip, it fires the weapons. Here's an illustration as well.
