Leaving the Rashomon on the battlefield can allow you to use it as an obstacle that your opponent will need to make sure to keep in mind. For example, basing your attacks around the Rashomon can force your target against the wall, making it hard for them to maneuver.

Here's another summoning-based technique, functionally similar to the Rashomon, except that it surrounds the entire self, barring the bottom.

I can think of a multitude of Earth techniques that would be ideal here. Which specific ones would you use?

(Kuchiyose: Tetsuengo Kabe) -Summoning: Iron Protection Wall
Rank: B
Type: Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons a large iron dome from one of their scrolls that covers themselves and even their teammates from enemies' attacks.
Note: Can only defend against B rank and down but doesnt block techniques directed from beneath.

Well the obvious one's are think's like the C rank stone spikes, and the Bamboo shoot B rank one. Maybe beginning with Swamp and then use this and summon it once the swamp is close enough trapping them in with the swamp.

I'd say Moving Earth Core is also a nice compliment. The key is to force a counter AFTER the user conceals themselves so that they're in an enclosed space.

These next four jutsus are part of the "Manipulated Tools" branch; all of these techniques are part of Tenten's signature style: weapon/scroll based barrages.

Multi-Blade Chaos has you summoning a weapon that can lift targets into the air and assault them by swinging them around and chaining attacks together. Note that you can't use other jutsus while controlling the weapons.

Weapon Gun is a summoning of a bunch of tools (shurikens, kunais, etc) that you can fire at your target like... a machine gun. Simple and to the point. However, this one is relatively redundant, in my opinion.

Spinning Swallow Show utilizes tonfa: police batons! It starts off with a simple dual tonfa strike and a subsequent bo strike.
The tonfa and bo are unique in what sense? Tell me a little bit about their properties and how they differ from say... bladed weapons.

And finally, Heavenly Steel Disaster is a good trap where you unravel a scroll above your target, raining down kunais and chains which trap and pierce your target.

(Sōgu: Maruchiken Ranmyaku) - Manipulated Tools: Multi-Blade Chaos
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user uses two scrolls and makes multiple weapons come out from them and float in the air. After the final blade causes the opponent to fly up into the air, The user uses a chain to bring their opponent down to the ground and then hits them again with the weapons. Using this attack allows the user to summon more weapons than usual for subsequent attacks.
(Sōgu: Sōninju) - Manipulated Tools: Weapon Gun
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user summons several weapons connected together by strings and jumps into the air, reeling them together to stack on top of each other. They then stands on the top weapon on one foot, and twirls backwards, shooting the string-wealed ninja tools at the opponent like a machine gun.
Sōgu: Kaien Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Spinning Swallow Show
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user hits the opponent with a pair of tonfa, then tosses a scroll in the air to summon a bo staff and hits them with it. When the opponent is lying prone on the ground, they summons a huge spiked club and crushes them with it.
(Sōgu: Tenkosai) - Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Steel Disaster
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: Like Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Chain of Destruction, The user unrolls and throws thier large scroll over the enemy. They summons countless Kunai from the scroll to rain down on the enemy before releasing four large chains to force the enemy to the ground as the chains collapse on them.

Well I would say they are relatively based around trying to deal blunt damage to an opponent rather than trying to cut or slice them. I can see them being used in Training I guess, haven't really seen them used that much if at all in fights.

You're exactly right. And if you don't see them being used in fights, they're probably good ideas for CWs xd

This is the last B-rank I'll go over with you. The rest are clone derivatives and other weapon jutsus with prerequisites.

Questions or comments on this one?

(Hana Ninpō: Kyōku Sai) - Flower Technique: The District End
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user reaches out his/her hand, sending a stream of flower petals from their palm towards the opponent. The flower petals encircle the enemy and dark smoke fades their surroundings to black, hiding the user.

Good. Now to the A-ranks.

Our first one here was used by Hanzo to cripple Nagato in the manga/anime. If you recall, he streamed them to wrap around the Rinnegan user's legs.

Counters: even if they are seamlessly merged with the ground, I believe sensors and dojutsu bios can see them hidden. If your bio doesn't have either of those, it becomes much harder.

So... let's say I use this against you. You don't have sensory or a dojutsu. How do you counter this in two stages; i.e.:

1. How do you counter this technique while the paper tags are streaming toward the ground?

2. How do you counter this technique if the tags begin wrapping around your body?

(Himitsu Kibaku Fuda no Jutsu) Hidden Explosive Tags Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.

1. Well I guess I would see the opponent performing the handsigns and placing his hands on the ground, so I would assume that there would be a technique coming from the ground. Then I would begin by trying to destroy that large area of the ground of where they might be with a powerful and wide jutsu in an attempt to destroy them all at once, but not really knowing what is exactly under there.

2. I was thinking it might be possible to cancel out the paper tags with Nagashi? Countering them with a similar rank. But if not I had the simple thought of simply blowing them off my body with a wind technique that forms from my body at first.

1. Yes, that would be a good assumption. You might even trigger the paper tags if you use certain earth or fire jutsus while they're underground!

2. Nagashi would be fine. The tags aren't A-ranked; the damage they cause is! Nagashi can vaporize the tags. Even if they explode, it's an A-rank basic ninjutsu vs. A-rank elemental, so the element has the advantage U_U

Rashomon x3 is next. Nothing too different, and each gate has a specific function.

(Kuchiyose: Sanjū Rashōmon) - Summoning Technique: Triple Rashōmon
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: This summoning is an upgrade of the standard Rashomon in which the user summons 3 of these demonic forms of the main gate of old Kyoto. Each gate has a specific duty: the first red gate takes the attack head-on, the second green gate reduces the power of the attack, and the third blue gate disperses the pressure.
Note: This technique can only block A rank and below.

These next two techniques are derivatives of Twin Rising Dragons, which you should've learned earlier. I want you to compare each of these techniques to TRD, and tell me how they're performed differently from the original.

(Sōshōryū Seichuu) - Rising Twin Dragons Control
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This technique is similar to the normal Twin Rising Dragons, but is an upgraded version. The user doesn't have to hold onto the weapons; they can just send them flying only with a movement of thier hand, which makes the weapons a lot faster. Also, with this new version, The user includes exploding tags in the spread in order to make the technique more effective.
(Sōgu: Tensasai) - Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Chain of Destruction
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: A stronger version of the Twin Rising Dragons, the user tosses their large scroll into the air above her opponent and summons hundreds of different weapons from it, which then rain down, impaling the opponent and anything in their path. The weapons move so fast that they appear as white streaks.
