Ninjutsu is a basic use of chakra in the ninja world. Most commonly known to be a ninjas life force is chakra. You take spiritual and physical energy and combine them to make chakra, which you use to move and use ninjutsu. A common use of Ninjutsu is Kage Bunshin or the Substitution technique.
Okay, decent enough. However we won't be touching jutsu that mould and manipulate raw chakra just yet.
I would also like you to know that ninjutsu encompasses all the basics of a ninja's arsenal; ranging from use of ninja tools, right through to supressing your presence in order to hide. In a fight, it may not necessarily be the one who uses the flashiest jutsu that wins the fight, maybe it will come down to the one who has greater mastery of basic ninjutsu and managed to get that fatal kunai hit?
So with that being said, we'll cover different jutsu based of the many ninja tools. I'd like you to first describe to me what a shuriken is and what you know of them?
A shuriken is one of the many basic ninja tools. Being shaped somewhat like star. Having 4 sides that are extremely sharp and deadly. The art of using shurikens is known as shuriken jutsu. A notable user of shurikens would be Itachi Uchiha. He has excellent accuracy and lethality behind each shuriken, being able to redirect them by hitting them off another. Most shinobi carry then around in a pouch strapped to their leg/waist.
Now, let's go onto how to use shuriken in battle. So in the RP, you basically have to describe how you either counter or evade an attack. In most cases, you'd probably just deflect a single shuriken thrown at your torso, by using a sword or kunai etc. but while you are busy with that, I can be stringing together hand seals to start a jutsu that may or may not catch you off-guard. Now if I throw a handful of shuriken at you, aiming mostly at say your right leg/arm, you'd most likely do what we call a free-form dodge (which is something you can only use against free-form taijutsu/kenjutsu and things like non-chakra enhanced ninja tools, basically anything which doesn't need a jutsu posted). Said dodge would most likely take you towards your left side, where I may or may not take advantage of by having a jutsu already heading for that direction or some form of trap waiting for you there.
Do you understand what I am trying to tell you here? If so, in your own words, recap what this lesson is.
Basically Ninjutsu is: a basic style of fighting from a ninja. It can include elemental and non-elemental jutsu as well as taijutsu and genjutsu. Shurikens are a ninja tool that can either be used as an actually attack or can be used in a better as a diversion that distracts the opponent or pushes them into an incoming attack or even backing them into a trap. Finally you can dodge any kind of attack that isn't chakra based by preforming a "free-form dodge."
(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:20
Description: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing a giant Windmill Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second giant shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.
Fairly simple jutsu; you throw two giant windmill shuriken at the same time. One of the shuriken will be thrown in such a way that it will fly in the shadow of the one above it. For this to work you'd either have to utilise the low ground (if your opponent is up in a tree or simply on a higher patch of ground) and/or throw the shiruken at a low angle in order for at least one of the shuriken to hit.
For this jutsu, find me a picture of the Windmill shuriken and tell me what the purpose of the second 'hidden' shuriken is. Also tell me how you might use this in battle and any other comments/questions you might have on this.
By the way, the chakra cost is due to you infusing your chakra into both shuriken in order for them to fly close together on the same path and to fly a little faster and further without slowing down.
Also, do you have an understanding of the format of these jutsu descriptions? Rather, do you know what chakra cost refers to, range etc?
(Ninpo: Kyojin Shuriken no Jutsu) - Ninja Art: Giant Shuriken Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user throws a Demon Wind Shuriken towards the enemy and uses his chakra to massively enlarge the shuriken, brutally striking the enemy, sending them flying.
Description is pretty self explanatory... you need to infuse your chakra before throwing the shuriken.
Find pictures and tell me how you might use this in battle and any other comments/questions you might have on this?
(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Techique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.
This is a rather useful jutsu as it requires no chakra cost but in a way should be countered with either a D-rank ninjutsu/taijutsu/kenjutsu or with an e-rank elemental jutsu (if you have one... not sure if many of those exist O__O)...
The justu descriptiojn should cover how to use this jutsu but if you recall, Kakashi uses this jutsu against Sasuke just at the start of the Sasuke Retrieval arc, just before he decides to leave the village. I'm pretty sure that is when he uses it... my memory is... yeah .__.
So same with the other jutsu: Find pictures and tell me how you might use this in battle and any other comments/questions you might have on this?
Please, please, please don't be afraid to ask questions... what you don't ask now, you'll learn the hard way by losing battle after battle. Also, I won't know exactly how much you already know or don't know, so I may have to explain in more detail, or less detail depending on how you understand the RP or the jutsu.
Chriss throws 3 shuriken at Fū, Fū jumps upward to a tree. While Fū is jumping, Chriss prepares 2 Fūma Shuriken but only 1 is visible he then begins moulding the necessary amount of chakra. He throws the first one and half a second later while Fū is focused on the first, he throws the second but faster so it catches up with the first. Fū uses a wind release technique to blow first one away while the second heads toward her unnoticed until it is too late. While that was happening Chriss ran toward Fū's left (my right) and threw 3 shuriken, each one curving to hit a different angle. Chriss then jumps up as the only way Fū can evade is by going up. Then Chriss waits for Fū to jump.
For the sake of your training replies, attack a training dummy so you don't get into any bad habbits. For what you did, by controlling one of my bios, in essence your opponent, you broke a pretty big rule. The only bio you can control is your own bio and maybe your partners bio in a tag-team match, so long as the set rules allow for that.
Now, try to break your reply down into easy to distinguish pieces; a paragraph each for you performing the separate jutsu, followed by a paragraph for any other information I asked of you. Which I asked for each of the three jutsu.

Okay. Chriss throws 3 shuriken at the pole. He then continues by molding his chakra for 2 Fuma Shuriken. He then throws those Fuma shuriken with a split second between.
Assuming the pole can dodge. I throw 3 shuriken to both it's left and right with the first Fūma Shuriken heading up and then diving straight down at the pole with the second one heading straight for the pole.
I start by throwing a regular fūma shuriken and then I throw a regular shuriken after moulding my chakra. The fūma shuriken being bigger the opponent would expect it to be the main attack but while they are deflecting that, I would then channel my chakra into the shuriken and make it expand greatly while still travelling at great speeds and stabbing the opponent through the chest.

I start off by throwing 5 shuriken, but they don't straight for the dummy, 3 go right and 2 go left. I pull 5 strings and they wrap the opponent up so their arms/legs are bound together. I then proceed to use the Giant Shuriken technique on 3 different shuriken. One piercing each leg to restrict the opponents movement, then the last one strikes them in the neck. Successfully decapatating them.
A Kunai can be used in the same way as a shuriken in the sense that you can throw it at the opponent or as an even more experienced user, you can hit them off of each other to hit a hidden target in a blind spot. The difference between the two is that a Kunai is widely prefered to be used in close combat rather than a shuriken. (On a side note, just imagine that) A skilled user I have seen use a Kunai against swords or even triple bladed scythes, is Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan. He fought Zabuza Momochi who was using the Kubikiribocho. Which is a sword of notable size and weight. Being taller than Zabuza himself.
Zabuza's type of large sword is called a Zanbatō, which roughly means Horse Decapitating Sword or Horse Slaying Sword, depending on the translation. They are not a real weapon and seem to only appear in Anime/Manga but all are similar in the fact they are that large size.
Just a little fun fact for you...
Kunai are essential to a ninja as they are a small and multi-use weapon that you can use to dig, stab, slash, defend, parry and many other uses. A shinobi is also able to channel their elemental chakra into the kunai (and most any other kunai) to give them a slight advantage over their opponent. For instance, a kunai coated in lightning chakra will cause a much sharper cut and can even slice right through standard metal, a fire chakra coated kunai will leave a burn and be extremely hot to the touch etc, etc.
A kunai also have a small loop on the handle that allows one to attach explosive tags, smoke bombs, pouches or anything else you might want to attack to a thrown kunai.
(Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu) - Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: The user will hurl kunai with pouches attached at their target. Upon impact, the pouches explode, releasing small explosive notes. Due to the large number of kunai thrown, a shower of notes will rain down on the target. The user will then throw one final kunai with an active explosive note at the target. It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion.
A variation of this jutsu appears in most Naruto games where the user throw three or so kunai with pouches attached to them, that contain many small explosive tags. These pouches themselves are explosive tags and will explode after a certain time or by you simply activating them using a the seal of confrontation (as you do to activate explosive tags that are not timed... also, find me a picture of the seal of confrontation). While these smaller tags are fluttering around after the initial explosion, you would throw a final explosive tagged kunai that would cause the remaining tags to detonate in a much larger explosion.
After the initial explosion, do you think the opponent would have a clear line of sight on you (assuming they stayed in the same location) or do think their vision would be clouded and if so, how could you use that to your advantage? A similar thing may happen after the second, larger explosion (if they survived via one means or another) so how again could you use this 'cover' to your advantage?
(Ninpo: Kakuu no mai ) - Ninja Art: Aerial Dance
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: short - mid

Description: The user will release several barrages of kunai at their opponent.
This jutsu is pretty simple... I don't think I need to explain this one to you.
So as well as any questions I may have posed for the individual jutsu above, for all of them could you also find pictures (if they exist, some jutsu are made by the staff of NB) and tell me your thoughts on these jutsu: such as if you see them as useful (and why/why not), strengths/weaknesses etc.

It's rather troublesome getting the pictures so i'll get to that momentarily but I think the explosions would cloud the opponents vision slightly leaving them with maybe a shadow in the smoke to tell where you are. But as I am able to learn B rank techniques now I could detonate the paper bombs and then use a shadow clone while they are blinded by smoke and then move to get behind them.
I could use the second jutsu in combination with a shadow clone by getting the clone to throw the Kunai and Shuriken at him/her while I used a Katon jutsu to burn them alive.
So the seal of confrontation is just the ram seal, but with one hand.

You don't have to get pictures for jutsu if they are too hard to copy/paste or find. If you at least look them up on the Naruto wikia page (look that up on google or something) then you will get to read a little more about some jutsu (if they are not original NB creations) and the picture might be there. Anyway.
Now tell me what you know of the following and how they are used in combat: Smoke bombs, Needles and Makibishi. Do an image search on Makibishi and maybe you'll recognise what they are... unless you already know. ^^
Makibishi are used to hinder a opponents movement by scattering tack like traps. This can be used to make your opponent have to jump up when you could have a shadow clone waiting to attack them from above, while I used a Katon jutsu like the Fire Ball jutsu.
Needles are used to hit precise points on your opponent and can even paralyse or put them in a near death state that can even make a sharingan user believe they are dead.
Smoke Bombs are actually very important in a shinobi arsenal. They can block a shinobi's sight which can lead to more strategical approaches. I've given a lot of attacking examples this training so i'll give a defensive example. If the opponent is trying to corner you, you can use a smoke bomb to block their sight and use Earth Style: Hiding Like a Mole, to get behind them silently for an attack.
Note: Won't work on sensor types
Hey sensei, won't your Village get mad at you for training an enemy Village?
The passing on of knowledge transcends the bounds of village allegiances... also, our villages are allied now O__O'
Anyway...
Needles are also harder to visually see than kunai but can't really stand up to being used as a dagger like a kunai can. They are mainly a throwing weapon that can also be combined with poison if you have the necessary training.
(Kage Makibishi no Jutsu) - Shadow Makibishi Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: A simple ninja technique in which the user deploys a smoke bomb and is used to lay down the makibishi undercover so that the enemy target will not notice. This technique is used to cause some damage and slow the enemy target down when they stand on them.
I don't think I need to explain much on this jutsu... so I'll leave it to your analysis. Also, if pictures are too troublesome to find, don't spend more than a couple of minutes trying to find them.
(Fukumi Hari) - Hidden Needles
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:20
Description: The user is able to call forth needles into their mouth and then spit them at their opponent with great accuracy.
So by having a slightly smaller sized needle than the one used by say Haku, you'll spit them out of your mouth, propelled by chakra in order to catch your opponent off-guard... hopefully.
(Kage Nawa no Jutsu) - Shadow Rope Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will use a black rope infused with their chakra to hold down and trap their opponent.
Finally, your last ninja tool-based D-rank ninjutsu. A simple rope that is specially made to hold chakra more effectively than a standard rope, is imbued with your chakra before you tie up your opponent. This will prevent them from using the Escape Skill Jutsu and also stop them from simply cutting the rope with a kunai or shuriken. However, anything stronger than a D-rank jutsu can break this rope.
Well, first I could just use the smoke bomb to cloud their vision but since I threw both at the same time, if they countered with a weak wind jutsu to blow the smoke away, they wouldn't be able to see them; unless they looked down.
Okay next. I can actually use the hidden needle jutsu with the jutsu above. I could use the first jutsu to limit their movement and use the hidden needles jutsu to hit their vital organs.
Finally Even though this one is easily broken, i'd say it could be more useful than I think. It could be used after putting the opponent in a genjutsu and then tying them up. Then just as they break out of the genjutsu, I could already be slitting their throat with a kunai.
