Ninja Ranking System

Just making this thread since Naruto as a series has definitely thrown ninja ranking out of the way.

At the start of the series where people were

Fodder: Villagers... People who try to fight ninja without any knowledge of chakra control.. Zabuza beat them with kunai in mouth.

Genin: Basic knowledge of being a ninja, learning basics of combat, field survival, chakra control

Chuunin: Better knowledge of being a ninja, knowing/having basic combat experience, better field survival, excellent chakra control

Jounin: Advance knowledge of being a ninja, advance combat experience, experience and knowledgeable field experience, excellent chakra control

Kage: No explanation needed (Your a boss)

Sannin/S Rank: No explanation needed. Could be a kage but the slot was taken or you murdered too many people

Solo King:

It made more since back then since it determined peoples jutsu and skill levels

Now the current levels are:

Fodder: If you are Jounin on down you are now considered fodder

Epic: If you can cause major damage with very little ease your here

Demi God: When wiping out thousands is as simple as walking on water

Solo King:

Sakura is fodder level..

Demi god: Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Naruto, Sasuke
Epic: itachi
Fodder: rest

Epic tier: Kakuzu, Itachi, Nagato, etc.
Demi God tier: Madara, Hashi, Naruto, Sasuke
Solo King tier: Obito
Sasori and Deidara tier: Sasori and Deidara.

I forgot how Hanzo was owning all 3 Sannin with just him and Ibuse.
Hanzo is Kage level. He surpassed a lot of people.
...but he got solo'd by Deva Path Pain. What does that say? Pain is on a whole 'nother level.​

I think Pain takes that last place for Solo King since you left it blank.
But certain people still follow that ranking system. The reason why some don't is because the ones who would be kage level had certain circumstances come up that stopped that from happening, causing a diversity of opinions and views.

5, jounin/anbu

In case you are interested, a special Jonin is a Ninja who is extremely skilled in an area other than combat.
