With the first jutsu really only perk would be what you said to deter cqc but thats about it unless combined with a wind style to throw them around. Like others wind style would send these right back towards you."No, you don't need. Good job though, Keji!"
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.
"Pull out a scroll, and rotate it around yourself. Using your chakra, you will cause many spiked balls to burst from the scroll, and strike anyone close to you, which discourages those who like close combat. Pretty simple."

Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.
"Unroll two scrolls close to the opponent, and use your chakra to summon a large amount of weapons from them. This blasts the opponent into the air, and then summon forth chains, which pulls the opponent down onto the ground. Weird technique, but somehow useful."
The second reminds me of Gilglamesh's ability from fate/stay. Advantage would be summoning a bunch of weapons that would bombard the target with weapons launching them in the air. This would effectively block projectiles, protect against cqc, while dealing various amounts of damage to the target. The jutsu will then wrap chains around the targets legs slaming them into the ground. Downfall to this would be wind style jutsu blowing all of that back at the user.
