Night moth sounds better. Night guy is inconsistent. If someone could provide raws then I will change my mind.

Also night elephant and night moth. No no no that makes more sense with manga panda as well, evening then night, not two nights.

Here is what a little bit of research has brought to me. Here is the letters for guy, or one version of it. ガイ. Pronounced as gai. Here is moth. ガ Pronounced as ga. Both are similar with the first letter thing. Kanji i think??? Anyway both are similar but moth is missing something. I find it odd that the two could be confused though as guy has a whole other letter thing. Perhaps they used different words for it thoguh but this would explain the confusion to a degree.

Perhaps kishi made it misleading so that you would get the cross between Guy and moth. Maybe a pun that guy is a moth.

Due to Gai Name it 8 gate technic as "ELEPHANT", it could be "MAMMOTH" for Gai 8 gate final technic... that why came "Night Moth" in MP & MS...

So does marning peacock and evening elephant. Night moth fits guys personality as ridiculous. Sounds better because it makes sense for guy. Personally I am sick of overused things like Kirin for names. Yes Kirin appears once in Naruto but its totally not original. Night Moth is original and is just so ridiculous that to me its original and makes me wonder what the hell it is. AKA cool.
