Nice outfit.
"All of a sudden, everyone and their mother had new costumes. Like seriously. where was I at?" Wally thought to himself sitting on the edge of a rooftop in Gotham, waiting for Dick to show up so they can patroll Gotham, and by partrolling the city, Wally preferred to think of it as a date. "What's up with the Bat-family wearing red anyways? That's just weird!"
"Hey Walls, you're early. Nice suprise." Dick flipped over from the building behind us. The flip wasn't neccisary, but it also wasn't an issue...not one bit.
"What can I say? I'm on time when I want to be. Wally laughed, turning around and signaling his friend to come sit next to him, possibly to overview the sity for their "patrol."
"Whatever you say." Dick said, sitting down. Man, why did he change his trademark blue to stupid red? He looked so good in blue, Wally thought. "Where do you want to go tonight?"
The red was nothing to him, not a symbol like the blue was. Blue was for the memories of the Teen Titans, the original ones. Myself, Dick, Roy, Donna, and Garth. Blue was the only color we agreed we all liked and well,....it was Garth's and Donna's favorites. Kinda helped Dick remind him of those he lost, but oddly enough, he chose that color before they were even dead. It's funny how something transition from just a favorite color to a symbol of friendship, Wally thought, not paying any attention to Dick's question.
"Wally, you okay? You there?" Dick asked.
"Well....." I gotta keep it under control and not say anything at all revloving the outfit! Nothing, nothing, nothing. Notihng! "TheOutfitYourWearingIsSoStupid.WhyDidYouChangeTheBlueToRedLikeTheRestOfTheBatFamily?ANSWERME!" And there it went....way to go Wally, way to go.
"Oh, the colors? Everyone else just likes red I guess, not sure why they all decided to change when I did though. Anyways, the blue colors meant all to me and always will, but I needed a change. I love Donna and Garth, I miss them so much, but I just...wanted to think about someone different for a change when I'm fighting. I can't fight when I want to just go home and cry, you know?"
Dick wasn't afraid to admit his feelings. I felt the same. Loosing them has really damaged us, Roy too.
"This red represents something different, but equally important to me." Dick continued.
"Nothing is as important to you as them, dude." Wally said.
"You are. See, the red is your color, The Flash's color. I want to show some form of tribute to you when I fight. Give me some motivation, you know?" Dick smiled. Damn, he really thought a lot about me. Wally smiled.
"Now that you say it that way, nice outfit." Wally's smile just grew bigger, but more sweeter.
Wally closed his eyes and leaned in, leaving a kiss as his motivation for fighting.
