I think that naruto is a little bit of a dumbass but his hard work gets him to what he wants to accomplish

And you guys are underestimating tsunade-sama i mean she is a sannin and Jiraiya picked her that means she is strong and we havent seen her fight to the death (ok mabye a little with oro) but otherwise she is strong and i dont think she will die against pein with the info she has

Even if he was proposed Hokage's chair, Gai wouldn't accept it...
He would never leave his training hours for the boring paperwork, he is a fighter not a decisions-maker, so i don't see that happening

I think that Hinata's father and Nenji's uncle, that Huyga guy (can't remember the name) could be the best choice since you are excluding Kakashi, who btw might still be alive...*please be alive!!!*

The fathers of the genin, like Ino's dad, shikamaru's dad, chouji's dad (chouza), and hyuuga hiashi are all on a lower level than the jounin who lead the main genin teams.

Hiashi's on the same level with them.

No, Ino-Shika-Chou are Chuunin level.. Aburame, Hyuuga, an whoever else (Yondaime? y/n) aren't on the same level. Also, Gai is pretty much Lee's parent anyway.

Meh, the ANBU are mostly weak in my opinion.
A jounin is a step up from ANBU.


Also, in Kakashi and Gai's rivalry thing, they're about tied in number of events won, I think.





Also, in response to the hokage who only does taijutsu comment, I'd like to point out that Tsunade's mainly taijutsu. After that she's only got healing jutsus.

And Guy also knows ninjutsu. He used a ninjutsu to summon a turtle one time. xD

Yeah i guess he knows ninjutsu, but he doesn't use it, because his level in taijutsu is much better than his level in ninjutsu,

Tsunade appeared as Hokage at a time where the village had just been invaded, and was partially destroyed after Oro's attack.

At that time the village could really use a Healer Hokage, with Katsuyu, healing techs etc. The village was reforming after the attack.

What the village needs now, in my opinion, is a Hokage that can stand against the numerous threats that menace the village right now. Danzou, Akatsuki, Sasuke, Ninja Wars...

Honestly, no one seems to be at that level in the village. Naruto is still too young, Shikamaru is more like a counselor than a leader, idon't think he'll ever be Hokage, with all his lazyness.
