Jesus Christ :lol
Apparently Kishimoto's way of "supervising" is giving tips :lol
Fluff just said this from a source on twitter.

honestly it might be a good thing that Kishi isn't in charge of writing, it might be better for the series
Man...look at the contrast though

I agree that Sasuke looks great, in fact, I think that's the best he's looked since Chapter 700 in my opinion. I never liked the Gaiden/Boruto Movie design, it made him look like a Sai clone, with better clothes. How is the top one so much better? Bar Burt's face with really ugly, I don't see any issues with the art - but, let's face it, he never was a looker. The three point perspectives are fantastic, and Sasuke looks divine. The latter is all that matters.

Bolt's never looked that terrible, by far.

All drawn by Kishimoto.
Anyway, I think the biggest fault to his design, would be that ruddy hair. It doesn't look good on anyone, even Sasuke. I mean try photo shopping that black hair on Sasuke's good locks, and tell me if he looks the same :lol
Aside from that, the whisker problem has always affected Naruto's appearance, though it looked normal on him for some reason. His kids? Not a chance. It's a facial **** block. Take a look at his face when edited.

Terrible? Not a chance. Unique? Not a chance.
Though the one thing I agree on, is Naruto especially, is never supposed to be a looker. You know? The gorgeous manga/anime guy trope, you know what I'm talking about, the one's that most MC's have usually? The Kirito's of our time. Black hair, fair skin, perfect eyes, and then everything else in between.
Average isn't bad though, I guess if people want unrealistic beauty in fictional stories, so that they can self insert themselves into these characters. Nothing wrong about that too. Though if you remove the shitty ass hair, the whiskers, you can have a reasonably good looking character. Especially design wise, his clothes portion rock. In contrast to that yellow jump suit Naruto wore in Part 1 & 2. Pretty nice I must say.
I don't really have a problem with the art itself, other than the fact that the style is not Naruto. I can get used to it if the artist improves over time. I do like the changes he made to Bolt's hair though.
Not bad at all. I would just appreciate that his style wasn't downgraded to his Epilogue style, because the Movie really improved him as a person, and he matured as a character. The style doesn't fit him, it's almost like a wardrobe downgrade :lol
I just hope the series doesn't suck major donkey.
I mean Adult Sasuke, but I 100% agree. Hebi Sasuke was the best looking 'anime/manga' character period during that time.Nonsense, Sasuke's duck-butt hair are divine and cannot and should not be removed from that swaggy Uchiha scalp. You jest, fella.
Burt looks all right at best for me in his 'best' scans. He looks decent in the third one, but that's just about it. Kishimoto's art has always been serviceable at best. Sure, some panels are nicely drawn, but on an artistic front, he is no George Bridgam. I have read many manga (and dropped almost all of them after a couple of chapters), and most of the ones I saw are not that well-drawn. Toboso seems to be the sole exception, as her perspective and character art is ****ing beautiful:

My point being, the guy is an okay-ish artist at best. Whilst the new artist has a less clean look, the art style isn't bad, only Burt looks bad to me. The rest of the characters look fine ... bar the skirt nonsense.
Fiction is fiction. People look reading and looking at characters that would be idealized versions, or at the very least, good looking people in general. Average is human to me. Being in Fantasy should be a complete transport.
I don't blame you :lol
They didn't even give it a year.
Kishi said that the new series won't focus on just Boruto. Its not even that. If they had moved away from Konoha or focused on main characters that had no relation to Naruto or Sasuke, it'd be interesting.

Girls were kissing cut outs of Sasuke for a reason, no lie. I saw those on tumblr years ago /lmfao
Part 1 Sasuke had an amazing design too.

Kishimoto came a far way, considering Sasuke used to look like this:

I'm really envious on the fact that Sasuke never really has a bad design. I mean can you name an instance where Sasuke just looked terrible where you had to complain?

That's pretty much it. He looks good in some panels, looks terrible in the others. The main thing I see Kishimoto struggling with is his hair style, it doesn't seem like he can properly draw his face right. If you compare Chapter 700, the Gaiden, and the Hokage One shot, you'll notice that each rendition of his character design is different.
I want to read it before making my decision.
