So I found out today after browsing the internet for a random game to play to keep me un-bored when i stumble onto an ad that shows Raphael and it said "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" next to him. What really caught me off guard was the way he looked. So i clicked the link and it sent me to the Nickelodeon website under the tab "Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles" Me, being an absolute NERD for TMNT, made me think "omg there's going to be a new series im going to so watch it!" until i went to go look at the character list and see how the new design for the turtles was going to be. I have only this to say: WHAT THE F***!
Well im going to explain the good and bad things about this new series in my point of view and opinion, starting with the bad:
The Bad part:
-The Characters: there is no Casey Jones from the 2003 series and April O' Neil is 16 not 20 something
-The way they talk: Michelangelo had a saying he would say often which is "Cowabunga!", now it's "Booyakasha!" .-. seriously?
-The way they sound: I nkow that you have to get different voice actors sometimes but they sound like they havent even hit purberty yet .-.
The Good part:
-the villains: They still got Shredder and the foot clan, don't know about the Purple Dragons yet but as long as Shredder is still the main villain, we're good.
-They still act the same way: Sure they sound and talk differently, but they still are the same, meaning that Leo is the leader, Donny is still the brains, Raph is still the hot-head, and Mickey...is still Mickey.
-Splinter: He looks wayyy better in this series than any other animated TMNT series out there.
Honestly i still plan to watch it, even though im in college and I hope it turns out to be good, though some of the things on Nick are trash (except the 2 Avatar series).
