How dare you! I thought you were about to tell us that a sequel was confirmed or something! I feel like I've been shot because of the disappointment.

But yes, I would love a new season :)

Honestly no. I loved the original series. One of the things that makes the series good is the ending. The characters have an open ended progression that allows the imagination to wonder. For example the series Gundam Seed was considered excellent after the last episode aired. It was so wildly popular that they did some OVAs to show the characters were still alive, from that on they ruined the series. If not for the OVA and the series that followed "seed destiny" the unholy garbage that drug it through the mud, we would not hear so many negative reviews of Gundam Seed. The artistic ending staying intact, we would have talked about how that series was probably the best gundam series in the last 10 years. So, no I do not want to see them pick up Samurai Champloo again. It had a beginning, middle, and end. Don't touch a classic. If you mess with bringing out stuff like this, I can only think of the horrors of reviving a show like Cowboy Bebop, just for fan service. Sometimes the things that are left to the imagination are good enough.

Not saying Gundam Seed was what I would consider in my top anime, but yeah I liked the struggle and the many tips of the hat to the original series story line. The addition of the best friends torn apart on 2 opposing factions. Just good drama, excellent sound track, and giant Robots. Yes I did in fact like Gundam Wing. Not sure what my favorite gundam series was, but Wing would have to be up there towards the top. My whole point for mentioning it though is that most people consider it an awful anime thanks to the second series that was pure fan service garbage. If they brought Samurai Champloo back after the ending it had, I would imagine it would fall into a similar category.
