Honestly no. I loved the original series. One of the things that makes the series good is the ending. The characters have an open ended progression that allows the imagination to wonder. For example the series Gundam Seed was considered excellent after the last episode aired. It was so wildly popular that they did some OVAs to show the characters were still alive, from that on they ruined the series. If not for the OVA and the series that followed "seed destiny" the unholy garbage that drug it through the mud, we would not hear so many negative reviews of Gundam Seed. The artistic ending staying intact, we would have talked about how that series was probably the best gundam series in the last 10 years. So, no I do not want to see them pick up Samurai Champloo again. It had a beginning, middle, and end. Don't touch a classic. If you mess with bringing out stuff like this, I can only think of the horrors of reviving a show like Cowboy Bebop, just for fan service. Sometimes the things that are left to the imagination are good enough.
