Toriyama is a huge fan, also a big Dragon Quest fan, so it's possible.

I think it depends. Beerus in the manga was stated to be one of the more troublesome ones. Toriyama is a little more hands on in the manga, since he edits it and even redraws panels.

Beerus can be a force of nature regarding his judgment of foods, but i think the other gods of destructions should have other (more severe) fetishes. Btw what's their respective universe?

Lol i think I played it in like 2007 or 2010. Everything looked so paper like and black and white. I quit it after 1hr. Wonder how it looks now l. XD

It's possible. I do know this, Toriyama is clearly drawing from different religions/myths. Champa/Beerus were Egyptian. Now this one is Norse inspired. I do think here will be a different fetish, if he goes back to Dragon Ball part 1 there will be some crazy gags.
