The First Mission
Yashi woke up early in the morning as the sunlight was shining through the window and the birds had just woken up too. He slowly walked out into the bathroom as he got ready, he remembered what their sensei said yesterday, and they were going to receive their first official mission today.
Later that morning Yashi met Akira and Ginjiro right outside the Hokages Mansion, waiting for their sensei to arrive, they were listening to the wind blowing through the trees, the sound of the village waking up and the birds in the sky.
Their sensei arrived about an hour later than them, and as they were about to walk inside, Mante noticed, there was an unusual amount of guards around the mansion and they were all ANBU members handpicked by the Hokage. They were met by two ANBU shinobi standing next to the Hokage, the legend who defeated the Akatsuki singlehanded and was said to be the shinobi to bring peace to this world.
Hokage: “Hello Mante… how’s it going….”
Mante: “Great Hokage-Sama… what is our first mission”
Hokage: “Your first mission… you will be going to the farm just outside the village, they need you to clean the stables….”
Yashi: “What the hell is that kind of mission!!! I will not accept that!”
When Yashi looked into the Hokages eyes, he saw a glimpse of irritation. While they were having a stare down, his friends and sensei were just talking about food and such.
Hokage: “Yashi…*sigh* your simply a Genin, you can’t take on such missions yet..”
Yashi: “But I do not want such a ridicules mission!!!”
As soon as Yashi began to yell up his sensei looked at him from behind, nodding his head while almost laughing. Suddenly the Hokage disappeared from his seat and before Yashi knew it, he was with his head upside down, while the Hokage was holding his legs.
Yashi: “LET ME GO!!!”
Hokage: “shut up!!...*sigh* fine I will allow you to go on a C-rank mission…..”
The Hokage just dropped Yashi straight into the ground as he sat down and pulled out a scroll which he quickly explained was supposed to be handed over to some shinobi from the Hidden Cloud with a message; he also informed them that on this mission, there would be possible criminals searching for it.
Yashi: “Arghh!! That hurt…… wait what you’re giving us that mission…. Let’s do this!!”
Mante: ”calm down now Yashi let's not rush this. We don't know what we're getting into here? Hokage-Sama?”
As soon as mante said hokage he ordered yashi and the others out of the room and into the forest to wait for him there. And so they did.
Hokage: ”Mante what you should expect is a few footmen nothing more but it would be a fine opportunity to train the younglings no?”
Mante: ”Indeed hokage-sama should I make it interesting for them?”
Hokage: ”well just let them have their fun only interfere if it's an absolute emergency!”
Mante: ”Of course hokage-sama.”
And so they venture forth going outside the border Mante meets up with the three genins getting ready to travel towards the hidden village of the cloud.
Mante: "it'll be a long way to walk don't you think you should have brought some better shoes Akira?"
Akira: "why would I? It's not like it's a long way or anything right?"
Mante: "but I just?... * sigh * oh well do as you see fit!"
They then started to venture forth towards the city along the way they encountered a lot of minor fish trying to get the scrolls and of course Mante let Yashi and the others take care of them.
But once they came to a clearing there a man stood not sure if he was friendly or unfriendly none of them got any Intel of a man looking like this.
He was dressed in similar red armor as the 1st Hokage, with a white cloak concealing his appearance. His face couldn't be seen though Akira who were a sensor felt his incredible powerful chakra and told the others to watch out for this guy.
Mante slowly walked up in front of his students as he looked at the mysterious man, while trying to figure out what was going on, as he pulled out a kunai and got into his usual stance.
Mante: “Hello… may I ask you what you are doing here….”
???: “I’m on my way to a village… you?”
Mante: “We are on our way to the Hidden Cloud…”
???: “You shouldn’t go there… it’s dangerous… you could meet someone like me…”
Mante: “What exactly are you saying…”
???: “I’m just saying… I want to test my abilities…”
Before Mante could respond to the mysterious man, he appeared in front of him without any warning, as Mante quickly brought up his right arm to send a direct punch to his face; he simultaneously brought his kunai towards his chest.
???: “your quite fast… but not fast enough…”
He simply blocked his fist and as he grabbed his arm, he noticed the kunai coming and he quickly pulled out a special kunai with a mysterious sign on it, while he blocked the kunai with ease, he dropped down making an upwards kick to the face, sending Mante into the air.
Akira: “SENSEI!!!”
Mante’s students were all stunned by what they were seeing, their sensei was being kicked around by some stranger, they needed to help him before something bad would happen.
Ginjiro dashed forward as fast as he could pulling out a single kunai throwing it towards the mysterious man, while he quickly jumped into the air to deliver an axe kick straight to his shoulder. The man simply stopped moving as he grabbed the kunai and as Ginjiro’s kick made contact, nothing happened; he just smiled as he noticed the Konoha headband on his forehead.
???: “So your Konoha shinobi… well it’s been a while..”
He quickly grabbed Ginjiro’s leg as he threw him into the air, and he leaped forward catching both Ginjiro and Mante in the air delivering severe kicks straight to their chests. As he landed, Mante was standing straight up prepared for combat, while Ginjiro was coughing up blood.
Yashi: “Sensei!! Watch out!!!”
Suddenly the mysterious man appeared behind Mante, as his clone standing in the opening disappeared.
???: “You should be more careful…”
Akira: “You are the one who needs to be more careful…”
Akira was delivering a punch straight to the man’s guts, as Mante swung his fist right at his face. When the man was flying backwards from the punch, he held his hand to his private area, while a small piece of his hair showed from his cloak and Mante froze for a second.
???: “I’m impressed… now shall we get this going or what…”
As he said this he sprinted forward, making a roundhouse kick straight to Yashi’s head, though Yashi was well prepared and blocked the kick with both hands, though the mysterious man quickly used Yashi’s body to jump towards Akira, delivering and as he was just about to hit Akira straight in the stomach, she closed her eyes and screamed for her life.
Akira: “ARGGGHH!!”
But to Akira’s big surprise nothing happened, and as she opened her eyes, the mysterious man stood there in front of here with his fist just a centimeter from her, as he was looking at her, shaking, almost looking like he was about to break down.
Before anything happened, Mante jumped towards him delivering a punch straight to his chin, as he was completely unaware of his surroundings and just let his guard down for a moment, the mysterious man landed with his face first in the mud.
???: “I got to hand it to you… you’re not that bad… let’s see how well you do against me, when I go all out…”
As he said this he formed a few hand seals prepared to launch a full scale offensive on them, while the students were all frozen in amazement and fear, their sensei was standing tall against a mysterious opponent who was now preparing to kill them all off with his next move.
While the fight was raging on, the sun was beginning to go down, as the sky turned red, the trees began to cast long shadows around them and the wind slowly died away, the mysterious man’s armor was shining in the last glimpse of the sunlight.
