Legendary Rivals
As Kakashi was standing in front of his mysterious opponent, he slowly put away his book and pulled out a single kunai. He was staring at a tall skinny person with long spiky hair, dark eyes and a simply white rope on.
Kakashi: “Alright… let’s see what you can do…”
Kakashi sprinted towards him, delivering a punch straight towards his face, followed by a simple drop to swipe his feet, but as this happens, the mysterious man simply grabbed his hand and held it tight for a moment.
???: “Kakashi Hatake… I thought you were stronger….”
When he said this, Kakashi noticed his eyes, it was the same eyes back in the 4th shinobi war, it was him, and he was still alive. Kakashi couldn’t believe it, but at the same time he was completely frightened and couldn’t move.
The mysterious man simply threw him over his shoulder and made an upwards kick right to Kakashi’s shoulder, and while Kakashi was in mid-air, the mysterious man began to form several seals.
Kakashi: “It’s that jutsu… I can’t make it in time…. I’m going to d….”
Before Kakashi could finish his sentence, he heard a familiar voice; “Dynamic Entry!!!”, Kakashi looked up to see his old rival, Maito Gai, the Noble Green Beast of Konoha, who had just sent the opponent flying straight into a tree.
Gai landed safely beside Kakashi as he landed, he looked down at Kakashi for a moment, then he turned his attention to the mysterious man who had tried to kill his rival.
Gai: “Hey Kakashi, Let me take it from here!!”
Kakashi: “Gai… you’re getting too old for this stuff..”
Gai: “Don’t go all crazy… I AM NOT OLD!!!... I will show him The Power of Youth!!!”
As Gai said this he stood on one leg with both hands straight into the air like a V, showing his agility. While Kakashi was sitting on the ground shaking his head over his old friend and rival, thinking that how he could really be his rival after all these years.
Gai stared at him for a moment, “Alright here I come!!” Suddenly Gai disappeared in a swift movement, and before the mysterious man could react, he was smashed into the ground by an axe kick, without any notice while the ground was crushed beneath him and his body was giving up on the huge pressure, the last thing he saw before his head went into the ground, was two orange leg warmers lying next to Kakashi.
???: “Impossible….”
When Gai landed again, there was no sign of the enemy; the only thing left was a small piece of his clothing. Gai quickly ran to Kakashi, while his old green jumpsuit was completely clean and his greyish hair was still cut the same weird way as always and he had that strange smile on his face, though it always cheered him up to see it.
Gai: “Hey Kakashi, did you see me crush that guy… hehe.. it seems I have surpassed you Finally!!!”
As he says this Kakashi just glares at him, while he makes his Ultimate Pose, and as he does, Kakashi quickly jumps up right in front of Gai and smacks him in the back of his head.
Kakashi: “there is no time to be posing; we need to go to the hidden cloud….”
Gai: “Oh common Kakashi!! It’s the power of Youth!!!”
Kakashi didn’t even listen to him; he just began walking down the dirty road in the rain, as Gai was staring at him with wide open eyes, while he started crying loudly.
Gai: “Kakashi…. *sniff*… Why do you always seem so cool…. *sniff*..”
*scene skip*
While Kakashi and his eternal rival were going to the Hidden Cloud, Kakashi’s grandson Yashi, was sitting in the living room, looking out into the sunset as a small breeze went through the air, while a few leaves fell from the beautiful trees and the sun shining through the window, Yashi heard his mother talking to him.
Mother: “What’s wrong… Yashi..”
Yashi: “Oh… nothing mom… when is dad coming home….”
Mother: “He will be home soon… I promise….”
As his mother told him not to worry, he just glared into the sky as it began to be consumed by darkness and small shining lights filled the night and you could see all the homes in Konoha begin to go to bed, as all the lights began to turn off, the only place you could see light in Konoha was at the Hokages Mansion.
