Itachi's databook stats are equal to Jiraiya which is 35.5
But Itachi fans deny it
No one denies it. They just use the same stats to point out that since the scores are in
base (no sharingan of any kind for Itachi, no partial dsm for Jiraiya) that he's superior to J-man. Also, doesn't help the fact that the only reason that they are not equal is because of Itachi's stamina. Itachi scores surpassed J-man in everything bar brute strength and stamina. Brute strength isn't a part of Itachi's fighting style, so this is pointless. His stamina has never been a factor since he's a pacifist who takes no enjoyment in fighting and wishes to end things quickly...and he does.
Weren't Itachis stats like final. Wasn't the third data book made around the time of Itachis death?
The databook uses base stats... so, Itachi's scores are not factoring in sharingan. But yes, the 3rd databook came out the same year he died in the manga, a few months after.
However, it might change if Kishimoto wants since he showcased Edo Itachi which is the same as living Itachi but with no stamina drawbacks. He could increase Itachi's taijutsu score or something, since that is the same edo or not and is independent of the sharingan usually for him.
Or, he could very well keep it the same. I doubt this, though.
ot: Since this databook is picking up from the Pein arc, the following characters will have much more commentary from Kishimoto added to their profiles:
Nagato
Itachi
Tobi/Obito
Madara
The Edo Hokage
Danzo
Kabuto
It should be interesting to read.
And the databook scores of the following characters will rustle so many jimmies:
Nagato
Itachi (if Kishimoto bothers to improve it since he showed us more of what he could do)
Obito
Madara
Hashirama
Minato
Tobirama
Naruto/Sasuke (a war is going to start over this no matter what the outcome is.) Lol
I'm excited to see all the "vs" fights end and how many people will retract their prior statements. The end of the manga is the perfect time to settle this with a databook from the author himself. U_U
