Well the good thing about YGO is that it makes spin-offs and not continuations of the original plot. That way the original work stays a masterpiece while others count as stand-alones. GX was meh, but the only ones that ruined the YGO were the last 2 (ZEXAL and Arc-V) so this is more of an old school thing.

this is how a real manga should look, something that will take you 100's of consecutive life terms to acheave
