You seem to be into action, so:
Darker than Black -> There's two seasons and four OVAs that explain what happens inbetween the seasons
Gintama ---> Main focus on comedy, although it has some epic arcs
Hajime no Ippo ---> Don't be skeptical of this show just because it's about boxing
Hunter x Hunter (2011) ---> (2011) is the remake version by Madhouse and the story goes much farther than the original anime
Trigun ---> A little older series, but amazing nonetheless
And I also second Death Note, Brotherhood, Baccano!, Durarara!! and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
