Kakashi graduated at the academy at 5 or 6, became a chunin at 6 or 7 and became Jonin at 13 years old.

I cant seem to find the exact age for Kakashi's genin / chunin graduation but i know there is a 1 year gap. His 13 years old Jonin age is correct.

Minato is facing the best Kunai / Shuriken user of the manga. Minato's sole chance to win against Itachi relys purely on the use of FTG, without it he is fodder to Itachi.

Same here. Regardless of what it was intended to be, it seems to have evolved (or maybe devolved) into a vs thread. I my opinion, although you can technically compare them as they are both high level shinobi, I don't think that is a good aspect to compare them in. Sure, if you wanna compare what they did for their village, I'd say that's a bit more reasonable....but to try to predict a battle between the two is too much. Why?

Nonetheless sadly we can't conclude on unproved feats, thus Itachi>Minato by manga facts

We've seen more of Itachi fighting than we have Minato. Itachi has been explained and explained again, and we know pretty much all of his techniques and abilities. As for Minato? We're not even sure of his chakra nature. We know he has some powerful techniques (FTG, Rasengan), we know he's fast, we know he's smart. But really, you guys take this limited knowledge and stretch it so much. Because not much else is known about him, I guess there isn't really much you can do (I'm sure he had other techniques, but we don't know them, so they can't really be used as evidence).

Basically people are taking Minato's few known powers and totally pushing them to their limits, hyping them up so much and saying they could counter anything. Which is probably not true. But, like I said before, there's probably more to Minato than we know of. So, until we know more about him, I don't think it is fair to compare them in a battle situation when we know Itachi's whole arsenal and very little about Minato's. Not trying to hate on either character, I like them both.

Itachi's is intelligence is dwarfed by the 4th Hokage who was a genius on the level that only comes once in a lifetime. His accomplishments speak for its self, he reverse engineered the Bijudama and created the rasengan, he was the 2nd Kage ever to create a time/space technique through fuinjutsu, Hiraishin was so fast that he could literally kill an opponent in the blink of an eye, and with kushina's help created a jutsu that was capable of summoning the death god.

What has Itachi accomplished? Itachi was really good he sped through the ranks faster than kakashi, and was the greates Uchiha after Madara. Unfortunately the rest of the clan had grown weak over the years. The only reason Itachi is an S-rank-nin is because of the mangekyo and the ability to use it wisely under chakra deficit but it can't be used often since he doesn't have the necessary chakra to use it continuously.

In the end, there is no comparing them. Itachi is powerful but Minato is out of his league.

wow, you are severely underestimating itachi, itachi ****s on minato. so what, he redirected a blast, wasn hard considering he knows space time. But again, the only person that can really fight itachi, is another uchiha. Minato would be mind ****ed by itachi.

Ok that's like saying Hashirama without Mokuton is fodder, or Obito without Sharingan is fodder, no ****....
Any shinobi without their signature jutsu is just mediocre. The fact is that Minato DOES have FTG and therefore destroys Itachi, plain and simple.

Minato didnt plan anything other than placing himself within Naruto to protect Naruto from being consumed by Kyuubi and placing Kushina's chakra in order to help Naruto when the time came.

He put his faith in Naruto, he didnt foresee / plan the outcome of this war


Itachi is the one who planned ahead.


Minato did plan a few things, but not to the extent that Itachi did.

No, i am not removing any abilities Minato has, im making you realise that his abilty is facing the shinobi who has the best chance to counter and neutralise Minato's key jutsu.

Minato has FTG, but Itachi is the shinobi who is the most suited to make it inneffective due to his expertise in weapons.

If Minato has his Hiraishin countered to a sigficiant extent, he doesnt posses the arsenal to defeat Itachi.

Itachi is very fast himself and clearly won't get blitzed by Minato's base speed. He needs to have Hiraishin working in order to be able to avoid Amaterasu and Itachi's genjutsu, as well as to land a hit on Itachi, otherwise he will simply be spamming FTG all over the place only in a defensive manner.

Without a close range opportunity, Minato is simply not a threat as he doesnt have a range arsenal, his fearsome abilities comes from the union of his FTG + Rasengan.

1st scan- Itachi protected Sasuke with HIS susanno...Itachi's reflexes were fast enough to protect himself, sasuke's wasn't and thus would have died.. itachi notied this and saved his brother, who could not revive from a hit ...Moot
