Minato right there, looks straight into Obito's eyes, even though suspecting him to be a Uchiha. He was reckless and against Itachi, the best Genjutsu user in the manga, it will be his downfall

LOL NO Minato knew that TOBI was in ghost mode that's why he looked into his eyes. In Ghost mode [i.e. Kamui] Tobi can't use Genjutsu and Minato simply used that to his advantage. We should be proud of his analytic skills.

Otherwise when Minato knew that Tobi wasn't using Kamui[Ghost mode]-

They are facing each other. It doesn't mean he looked thru his Sharingan. I can show you a scene where we see Hashirama looking Madara's Sharingan in a FB, but i'm sure you would say nothing about it. Also, Minato can teleport himself every moment, every instant. Just imagine yourself in Itachi's place. You see Minato, one second later, he is not there anymore. When will he have time to cast the genjutsu if Minato already disappeared an instant later? It's what someone like Itachi would probably think about

Funny how you talk about things accomplished when Minato is by far the worst of the Hokages in that department. His personality is bland and boring just like his fighting style, its like talking to a paper. Worst creation ever by Kishimoto, he doesnt even have an interesting aspect about it, reminds me of Barbie's Ken to be honest, the tipical Gary Stu guy but boring as hell and nothing interesting about him. Things accomplished? his son? yeah thats matter of skill... lol, sealing Kurama ill give you that, but he shall take no credit in Naruto mastery about it, thats just Naruto alone with the help of his friends and Bee.

Truely an horrendous thing to compare him to Itachi, who is quite the opposite: Itachi has an interesting story, full of mistery and deception, fighting style, one of the hardest to master and he introduced the real power of the Uchiha, he defeated the one that could of been the 4th Hokage(Orochimaru) in a matter of seconds, made Deidara look like an idiot, Kakashi one of Konoha's finest destroyed and Itachi didnt even move, Kurenai owned in a genjutsu battle in mereseconds aswell, Anbu captain at 13, respected by everyone despite his rogue ninja status, deceived the whole village with the exception of the elders, in the hardest known mission ever. Should i say more? he made his brother one of the strongest Ninja's in history and im quite positive that thanks to Sasuke the ninja world is going to be saved one way or the other.

The village was safe from Tobi thanks to him, he saved Naruto's and Bee's asses against Edo Nagato, he saved the village from civil war sacrificing something much more important than his life, his humanity. Minato had nothing impressive tbh, some half battle feats only. Itachi stopped Kabuto and made him look like a fool, i bet Kabuto is going to help Naruto now.

Itachi's story and character is one of the thing that kept the Naruto story interesting through many years, abou Minato? hmm some flashbacks but nothing that impressive. Wake up and write the title the other way around you are making a fool of yourself.

Considering how fast Amaterasu burned through frog stomach, how fast it toasted Danzo and Hachibi, I can give only one answer: Amaterasu.

Biased Assessment? Look at what 3 tails naruto did to jiraiya and the distance it flung orochimru. Amaterasu wouldn't burn through his entire head in time. Remember the Oro-Snake? It didn't burn through that immediately/ in less than 2 seconds nor the hachibi either.

If you want to debate properly without insulting all the time, i'm dispose to counter each of your arguments, but you usually only enter these type of threads to bash Minato and/or his fanboys. It's for that reason, i didn't really try to counter them

Amatarasu is by far one of the greatest techniques. You need extreme speed to escape it, and saying "Muu can split", "Gaara can block with sand", etc, is just hideous. It depends if they are ready, and it depends if they have knowledge.

1st of all, they can't look the person in the eye, since that would cause fatal defeat from genjutsu. So how are they gonna see, when the user uses Amaterasu? This is probably the greatest problem for any person, who would be about to fight in particular Itachi. Only a small bunch can do like Kabuto.

And naming Bee as an example... Lame. He was in Hachibi mode, if Sasuke had fired amaterasu on him, when he hasn't even transformed one tail, it had been over that very instant. But killing him wasn't their goal, and Sasuke was unsure about the flames, and didn't know, if he could put them out again.

you are right but i mean kakashi with long range kamui can affect those people even if they ready even in these special cases
so long range kamui stronger than amatrasu
