Minato's FTG is a good counter to Kamui

- Itachi single handedly kept the 4th war from happening until his death.
- Kept Konaha from Akatsuki.
- Protected Naruto from Akatsuki and Sasuke from Obito simply by existing.
- Reversed the Edo summoning to give the alliance the narrow chance it has now.

- Only downfall is he made Sasuke what he is today.

I could go on but the point is Itachi has done a crap load. His resume is legit...too legit. Maybe Minato has done more but to say "Never compare Itachi and Minato" ...come on now.

People around here tend to say "it is bad that Itachi didn't graduate faster, when he has a unique blood line limit"

Huge misconception that awakening sharingan is an easy task, and learning to use it to its full potential, people think that is easy too.

If it was, the uchiha clan had beaten the senju. Itachi and Sasuke were both praised a lot for awakening sharingan in a young age. This only means they were a lot ahead compared to the average uchiha.

Actually, being part of a specific blood line limit, does not make it easier for you to graduate to genin and chunin. It's the opposite. Graduation becomes harder, because everyone expect much more from you.

During the same time that kakashi is about to use kamui... itachi can just do amaterasu... Itachi has an instant kill too... kakashi cannot absorb amaterasu i dont kno where the hell u got that from

Orochimaru has unfortunately countered both jutsus canonically

Unfortunately, he wasnt fast enough to counter Itachis Genjutsu, his hand was cut off first. Paralyze + Amaterasu is very fast method to kill Orochimaru.

Amatarasu is by far one of the greatest techniques. You need extreme speed to escape it, and saying "Muu can split", "Gaara can block with sand", etc, is just hideous. It depends if they are ready, and it depends if they have knowledge.

1st of all, they can't look the person in the eye, since that would cause fatal defeat from genjutsu. So how are they gonna see, when the user uses Amaterasu? This is probably the greatest problem for any person, who would be about to fight in particular Itachi. Only a small bunch can do like Kabuto.

And naming Bee as an example... Lame. He was in Hachibi mode, if Sasuke had fired amaterasu on him, when he hasn't even transformed one tail, it had been over that very instant. But killing him wasn't their goal, and Sasuke was unsure about the flames, and didn't know, if he could put them out again.

Ya minato cannot teleport inside susanoo... Its a physical barrier, yes he can put a seal outside of it but thats it, and i doubt he can break it when itachi has the shield. All itachi needs to do is stay inside susanoo and spam amaterasu while swinging with the totsuka blade and if minato gets careless... tsukuyomi...While using all three of his insane MS abilities at one time, one's bound to get minato, and also Itachi is a genius and will think of something. Also we shouldn't pit a blind/and severly sick itachi with a healthy and no handicaps minato

hahaha....so you telling me 2 things 1 Kakashi did not rank up faster then itachi...at the age of 13 leader of his squad under danzo Kakashi became a jonin when he was like 14 and just because itachi was born with a powerful eye dose not mean the 4th is on his level..so question to everyone on this tread since its clear you are fanboys of the 4th how would he touch itachi due to his blood line he is already extremely fast heck it took sasuke some type of drugs oro was giving him just to match itachi speed alone they are not slow at all..itachi can cast genjustu from his finger tip alone with out eye contact how would the 4th counter this he cant...he is also consider a close rang fighter unlike itachi who fights both ways and need i say is fast with forming hand signs..so no dont compare the 2 when its clear that if you know he is the second best from the clan then he is good at what he dose..oh and notice i did not even mention his Mangekyō Sharingan because 1 hit from any of those and its over for the 4th and both are smart

To be fair, Minato would only have to look into Itachi's eyes to be caught in his Genjutsu. And at that point, the fight would probably be over. Although, if Minato were to figure this out, and avoid contact, then yes, Itachi would be well and truly scrambled. And if Minato analysed and found the weak point of Obito's jutsu in a matter of seconds, I doubt it'd take long for him to figure out eye contact caused the genjutsu. And once he learns how to avoid his genjutsu, he's basically won - Itachi isn't anything special without Tsukoyomi.
But this being said, Itachi can hit somebody with Tsukoyomi with his finger, this being proved by his battle with Naruto.

Really, they're both amazingly talented ninja, but they have much different styles, Minato favouring his ninjutsu, Itachi his genjutsu. However, Minato has the advantage, as he doesn't have to look into Itachi's eyes, and Itachi probably wouldn't be able to point at him, due to his speed... So Minato has this one.

But... itachi can do the same thing to minato, Itachi is a genius just like minato and can probably deduce the FTG pretty darn fast... For example pretend itachi is inside susanoo... he swings at minato, minato throws a kunai somewhere...(Itachi already analyzed minatos jutsu by now and has planned this strategy), itachi amaterasu's the kunai itself so when minato lands there boom dead.
