Yup. God of Storms, in the Shinto Mythology. Drawing from the Mythology is where I got his nickname, the name of his family, and even the part of the history where he kills the great snake (though if I meet an Oro bio in my travels, it'll be better to kill his eight-headed snake form). It's also where Kishimoto derived the Sword of Kusanagi, the Yata Mirror, and the Magatama techniques of Susano'o.
