"Hmm... T'is quite a conundrum, for I believe I do not fall into any of the types you mentioned..."
Thinking deeply about her connection with Keigoku, Morrigan couldn't come to any simple answer. She did not have an easily marketable laugh, or a violent temper, or the ambition to kill or surpass anyone in particular, and while she was proud of her abilities, she never once fooled herself into believing she was infallible. It seemed as though she would have to form her own connection to the corrupted Chakra, one that was radically different than her kin... She returned to her reason for aligning with the Nekura in the first place, what drove her towards a Clan that was so feared throughout the world, not away from. The conclusion she arrived at was not so surprising. Survival. Or to be more specific, preservation, both of herself and anything that, to her eyes, was worth preserving at any cost. She would do far worse than simply kill someone that interfered with her own goals, or sought to end her goal of self-preservation. She would make examples of them, with broad strokes if needed. In some ways she was far darker than her fellow Clan members...
"I believe my connection with Keigoku stems from the primal urge of self-preservation, albeit at any cost, even, as you mentioned before, murder, ruthless actions and other such unpleasant ordeals. T'is why I aligned with our Clan in the first place. Not only to help me in my own preservation, but to help preserve the legend and power of the Jūbi against all that would seek to erase it. The Senju, the Uchiha, indeed all of the Ninja World. Even time seems to have had an effect on people's perception of the Jūbi, labelling it as nothing more than a fairy tale now. Some things in this world are worth preserving, no?"
