people have doubted numerous things about neji. one of those things has even been his speed, and the things he sees. some time ago, it was being said that the sharingan can see things in slow motion, and the haku fight was used as a reference. this was proved to be false as in the anime everything wa just moving in slow motion at that point. later, it was argued that sharingan doesn't see in slow motion and only predicts, BUT the byakugan could see things in slow motion. the reference for this was 128 plams, from the anime. some people said it wasn't cannon and some people said he wasn't seeing in slow motion but just moving really fast... which is the same thing in essence.... as "i'm moving so fast it seems like you're moving in slow motion". people didn't really argue against that TOO much... but it was seen more so as neji's speed and not having anything to do with the byakugan. i now question this... and wonder if the byakugan actually can see in slow to an extent. I've noticed the sensing ability of the byakugan, but this seems to actually be increased movement speed "/" or "+" vision that preceives the attack in slow motion.

just review these links... pages 2, 3, and 4 of chapter 195...

what does that black expanding circle signify?
it seems to be somewhat smiliar to when 64 points is done... where neji is obviously moving MUCH faster than normal. he DOES actually move very quickly as well. as you can see on page 3, he begins to increase his chakra activity at that location AND on page 5 you can see that he has dodged as well as his position is COMPLETELY different... and MUST have done so VERY quickly.

so what do people think about that? is it accelerated movement due to the byakugan (or the byakugan allowing the user to view it as if in slow motion)? is it just neji being uber (lol)? thoughts comments?

i'm leaning towards him speeding up to ridiculous speeds via some byakugan enabled abitlity. that black space effect they draw in has me wondering leaning that way...
