if you read manga,you would know that zabuza died by some non ninja's swords

Nejii is high jonnin level, while zabuza is elite jonnin level, and they both died with a few NO SWORDS sticks on their backs, still that doesn't mean they're fodders

Neji wins mid difficulty.

He is a perfect match up to take on Zabuza and win. Rotation should counter most of Zabuza's attacks so Zabuza will be hard pressed to land a lethal hit on Neji. Neji's speed and taijutsu prowess is greater so coupled with his 360 vision and gentle fist style, he'd make quick work of Zabuza in CQC. At long range, Zabuza stands a better chance but it is still quite likely for him to pull off a victory.
