My vote goes draw...Neji goes all out 128 Gates Assault and pull no punches he minght win....True Shino has never lost in manga, and yes those bugs are evilily nasty...I'd say if Neji can't win it in the first 3 minutes...the match'll go to Shino

Keep in mind that Neji's Kaiten is just a massive release of chakra...

Shino's bugs would just feed off of it so Neji can't even use that.
Shino could also place his bugs around his body so that they eat the chakra away from Neji's Jyuken.

I never thought about this, but Neji won't win this.

Rotation can deflect all the bugs BUT if Shino uses a lot of the bugs as decoys and sends some into the Byakugan blindspot (I know I talk about this all the time) and they sap Neji's chakra then that's all that has to happen really. They're both very smart but I think Shino is smarter.

I love Neji more but I'm going to have to vote for Shino today. I may feel different tomorrow hehe

Neji's Kaiten is entirely made up of chakra. Shino's bugs should be able to feed off all of it

The blindspot isn't even necessarily needed....once Shino's destruction bugs get a hold of you...buh buh chakra....since all of Neji's Tai and Ninjutsu are chakra based...can't you say it with me....that's right...Pointless fight

1) Are chakra points generally the same in everyone or it based on the person? and does Neji's gentle touch taijutsu send his own chakra into their points to shut them down, or does he just hit them? If he just hits them he doesn't need chakra, he'd be tired but he could do it.

2) We know that Shino's bugs feed off of his chakra so do they have their own chakra stores, or is it like if his chakra gets shut off then it's like a light switch for them and they just turn to normal bugs?

1. Jyuken involves shoving your own chakra into the opponents tenketsu and shutting them

Well it's supposely say that everyone has the same ammount of chakra points...so Neji tells it, don't know and I wanna take a stab at it thinking that he sends his own to block the points off...

As far as Shino's bugs can't really tell....haven't really seen much of Shino in action in the Manga...so we really can't tell you the scheme of his bugs...

Neji as a genin took on (single handedly) two cloud jounins, correction...the byakugan doesnt have a blind spot since it doesnt just see things but chakra, you all are sayin Neji needs to get close to kill... Correction,=he doesnt, he can do air wall palm and mountain crushers,(long range attacks), shino's bugs take time to drain your chakra,neji faster and smater than shino, neji could pin point were to strike to kill 2 kisami clones while in a water cell...dont 4 get his 32, 64 and128 palms strikes,even with bug shield that wud take out shino 4 good....Neji uses gentle fist i.e with his byakugan he can see the flow of ur chakra and wit a 'gentle' tap of his fist can disrupt ur chakra flow killing you from the inside, Neji was made jounin before shino...interpretation NEJI IS STRONGER THAN SHINO,..in a fight i wud prefer HYUUGA NEJI ON MY SIDE
