shikamaru, neji is short-range fighter, his only long range jutsu is that air palm as we know, so logically, he must get close to shikamaru, which is almost impossible with his shadow jutsus in the game

I say Shikamaru but with difficulty. With Byakugan, Neji can see wherever Shika's shadows come from. And Neji would obviously pwn him in taijutsu (One strike win) but Shika's shadow is stronger when its close-range so that can give him a little advantage to.

I've done my research and few websites say either it would en up a draw or Neji ultimately winning in the end. But, I'd like your opinions! Please explain your answers!
Reminder: Shikamaru's shadows are chakra so they can't touch Neji. Also, although Shikamaru is more intelligent and has the ability to come up with complex strategies in minutes, he lacks vital skills involving stamina, speed and strength.

People say if Shikamaru goes for long-range, Neji could just use Air Palm and his Byakugan to try to either get close or hit him. If Neji gets close range..it's over.
Besides, let's suppose they start of mid-range, fair right? Shikamaru lacks Speed and Stamina so Neji could easily beat him.
