I think Neji would do it flawlessly.
Those 100 puppets are just fodder really, they are like 100 bandits with poison knives at best. I don't see Neji getting touched by them at all due to their predictable linear strikes and such. Neji would constantly have his motion barrier up to cover his back and watch for needles and crap coming toward his blind spot. They won't touch Negi that's all I'm saying.
