Kitsuchi wins mid difficulty. Once he uses mountain sandwich, Neji turns to paste. The AoE of that jutsu is too great for Neji to simply avoid and rotation is useless when he is getting crushed by a massive amount of rock from two sides.

Depends on how dense forrest is, if it is too dense Neji can see his opponent via byakugan but Kitsuchi can not, so he can close the gap and proceed to pummel with gentle fist taijutsu.

I don't know if this can be applied to a "vs scenario" but Neji's byakugan is a good tool for assasination since he can pinpoint vitals with his byakugan and snipe with weaponary. Even Haku with no doujutsu could hit vitals, we never saw Neji doing so but it is not out of realm to Neji having such capability.

20 meters is nothing for a ninja. Just an example, even someone who is slower than Neji was able to move ~ 30-40 meters in a single panel [

I am not sure how far he was, but it leads me to believe part 2 Neji could cover 20 meters of distance fairly quick (even certain humans from our world can do it in 2 secs)

Well it was tested in school when I was 14 so probably my speed has improved since then.

Why is it so surprising that I'm supporting Neji btw? I still don't like him at all, but I can see him winning & I think Kitsuchi is overrated.
