It's almost impossible to punch through Rotation, simply because its not tanking the attack, but parrying it away from the center.

What I was going to say, though I feel like if Tsunade smashed Sasunoo, it wouldn't be farfetched for Sakura to do so with Rotation.

The difference in Susanoo and Rotation is simplicity.


Susanoo is a Dojutsu that uses chakra to create a fixed body of armor. Comparatively, Kaiten stays a simple chakra. The key difference to note is that one transforms chakra into something while the other IS chakra.

As such, the construction if the Rotation defensive shield is a pure wall of chakra where Susanoo is an altered chakra wall. Furthermore, Rotation adds rotation meaning the attack can't be focused on a single place, but gets spread out and fires off away from the wall. Also, Rotation is a full body deal meaning it doesn't have the weakspot of below like Susanoo.

Notice upon use, the user stands in s crater: this is because chakra is being applies to below the individual as well. Rotation was capable of handling the tails of the Juubi which arguably have greater impact and momentum than Sakura's punch.

Rotation is an absolute defense granted the user is still spinning... As we saw with the Mokuton: Shishiki jutsu the barrage lasted so long it ended up taking them multiple spins. Due to its return fire nature, such a problem wouldn't exist against a physical punch.
