Neji is powerful enough to hit someone through a tree. Even without chakra, palm strikes can be very painful in real life then combine that with the fact he can strike pressure points multiple times in an instant. Just because gentle fist can damage people with the slightest tap, it doesn't make Neji automatically weak by default.

Why wouldn't neji be useing Juuken?Juuken is classified as taijutsu so neji can use it.

He hits harder but it still doesn't make him a better martial artist. I'm willing to bet Gai and Lee could still keep up with sage mode Naruto in a pure taijutsu fight and they would wipe the floor with him if they opened gates. Just like how you wouldn't doubt them being able to beat Tsunade in a pure taijutsu fight, nor real life fights going to the strongest person. Martial arts skill > raw power.

Itachi wins, if they can use their dojutsus. U said no ninjutsu and gentle fist is a type of ninjutsu because of how it uses the chakra to disable your chakra network so Itachi, but I know neji would give him a good go

The gentle fist is classified as a type of taijutsu. They are just using chakra instead of their muscles to inflict the damage.

Strength is weak against technique. Something that Neji, and even itachi, has plenty of.

Pein hands down. He was able to take damage from Naruto while controlled by the Nine-Tails that would've obliterated Neji and Itachi. Plus, even if Neji is able to use Gentle Fist with chakra, it would be irrelevant in a Taijutsu-only fight. Itachi has good Taijutsu, but it can't compete with Pein or Neji since the Hyuuga are a Taijutsu-based clan.

Well if i may remind u: Deva path was HAMMERED by a MOUNTAIN SLAB but still moved about, so i dont think any taijutsu is gona work. Whereas Nagato is sickly, lame and in wheelchair so cant go taijutsu. Also itachis speed is awesome and probably better than Neji in base speed.

I d say itachi just because well neji was Actually cought off guard of that zetsu as for itachi he was fighting the real Km naruto and he was actually kepping up with it

It would come down to Neji and Itachi, but I say Neji takes it, as he constantly fight in taijutsu and Itachi is more about genjutsu.
