Neji Hyuuga and Sasuke Uchiha VS Sound 5

Neji and Sasuke win.
First off, it is an open field which gives advantage to team 1, forrest gave good advantages to Sound 4 members in their battles againts SRA squad, especially to Kidomaru. In this location there is nowhere to hide for him nor elavated locations like tree branches to prepare and launch his attacks. Not to mention Neji got a lot more experienced, faster and had more ranged byakugan in time skip.
Jirobou's earth dome's chakra density would be seen by Neji's byakugan, then it can be destroyed from a single location with chidori enhanced katana or an airpalm. In terms of cqc, both Neji and Sasuke are superior to him, only thing Jirobou has over them is strength, other than that he is slow as turtle, gentle fist strikes or kenjutsu combined with lighting would end him.
Chidori Nagashi would get rid of Sakon-Ukon if they try to merge with Sasuke, if they try it against Neji he can get rid of him by circulating his chakra with full body blow like he did against Zetsu before they become a threat to his physiology.
Tayuya has dangerous sound genjutsu, i don't know much about her but Sasuke and Itachi were able to get rid of it as 2 people, plus byakugan can see through chakra distribution.
Kimimaro is the only problem, but his bones are shown to be resistent against physical attacks, even fodder Samurais' chakra enhanced blades were peeling his bones halfway, chidori katana would be able to bypass them or Neji's highly fast strikes of gentle fist can inflict harm on him.

I think Neji and Sasuke win, and i only brought of some of Neji's abilities and mainly kenjutsu-lightning techniques for Sasuke.
Adding Neji's defenses, Sasuke's katon techniques, curse mark abilities and summonings are overkill.

What do you mean by stationary taijutsu fighter? Pretty sure Neji is fast and him being a taijutsu fighter means he isn't stationary unlike long ranged fighters. Anyway current Neji is much faster and the way the jounins were portrayed in part one, both Neji and Sasuke can blitz the sound four so any individual member of the sound four would get killed low difficulty by either Neji or Sasuke.
I was surprised you said this but I guess your hatred for Neji is greater than your love for Sasuke.
Well said. Anyway adding on, Neji's vacuum palm allows him to deflect any projecile attacks such as Kidomaru's arrows, Jiroubo's huge rock and Kimimaro's bone bullets right back at the sound five.
Sasuke managed to take out 1000 thousand fodders with his speed so he can take the sound four out without too much effort. Both Neji and Sasuke have what it takes to put Kimimaro down and both Neji and Sasuke are faster since Kimimaro's speed is around part 1 base Lee's level who is slower than Shippuden Neji or Sasuke.
Snake summons allow Neji and Sasuke to survive Sawarbi no mae and destroy the bone forest.
Sasuke's sharingan genjutsu is also going to cripple the sound five. Tayuya isn't going to have the time to play her genjutsu and even still, both Neji and Sasuke can break out of it with ease. Sasuke's could also glide in the air, evading the opposition and Neji's rotation can save him in tricky situations.
Neji and Sasuke win mid difficulty.
