The thing is that Kidomaru is still a worthwhile match for Shippuden Neji. More than enough to keep him busy and if you just throw another Sound 5 member into the mix Neji gets wrecked.

Honestly, I could more or less see a rematch between Neji and Kidomaru being similar to how their rematch went in the anime. Neji would have to have two of the Sound Nin on him to keep him pre-occupied. Though, as long as Kimmi, Tayuya, and Kidomaru are there, the sound team wins.
