The point of this thread is this: Byakugan and Shikotsumyaku (Kimiaro's KG) are basically the two best taijutsu kekkei genkai. Who would win in a fight, Kimimaro, the bone user, or a byakugan user like Neji, Hiahsi, etc.?

I personally would be intersted in this because I'm not sure if Kimi's KG is based off of chakra points but we have seen the bones come out of points that seem to have a large amount of Chakra points such as the back and elbows. If the Gentle Fist were able to hit those spots and cut off his bone growth/manipulation, I would assume so. Also Kimi does have some medium ranged attacks that can be quite effective if he gets the timing of his attacks right.

hmm, this is actually a pretty good fight, but i'm thinking kimimaro. He was pretty beast even against Gaara, and he can attack from long, mid and close range, plus his attacks are pretty brutal. But on the upside, Neji also has a good defense, so it would be a matter of closing the distance if there is any to cut off his chakra points or damage some organs. idk, tough call, but overall, I'm thinking Kimimaro. I like Neji though, so he wins too lol

If kimmimaro can block his chakra points with bone then he wins. That is what the gentle fist users go for. Take that away and I'm not sure how they would beat kimmimaro.

So if Kimmimaro's bone jutsu blocks his chakra points then Kimmimaro wins.

Sharingan is pretty good for taijutsu as well though. It depends on the user but it can predict movements and track enemies and copy movements and even speed.

I think Kimi would win because of a lot of this and we also found out that his bone was infused with chakra that made them so it would prolly stop the Gentle Fist.

Sharingan is pretty good for taijutsu, but gentle fist is better if you ask me. It can't be copied by the sharingan, comes with an awesome defense move (palms rotation), the ability to knock out an opponent by delivering a gentle fist strike to their heart, and a ranged move (air palm). These abilities come with the byakugan, and while sharingan can copy other's taijutsu, you need the skill to use them, and that's no guarantee.

Thats the fight I wanted to see when we first saw Kimimaro. Of course back then Kimimaro would have wrecked Neji one on one but, now that he is on Jonin level it would be an awesome fight. When comparing the byakugan/gentle fist to Kimimaro's KG I think gentle fist would simply pass through the dense bone easily hitting organs or chakra points. At the same time seeing that final attack of Kimimaro's when he created a bone forest and was able to freely move within it means almost endless possiblities. Neji's byakugan with it's exray vision seems to be the only real defence againtst this type of attack. Personally I think Neji would eventually win.

I really don't think Neji would be able to get past that bone, I mean we don't have any proof either way but it was able to get through Gaara's sand. Also it's not like gentle fist can just go through everything.
