Neji Had So Much potential for Naruto Gaiden

I know there have probably been tons of these threads but, could you imagine what Neji would be like in the mini series if he didn't die in the war? I think due to the fact that he was considered a genius among his generation and that he showed such skill and prowess that he could have been in like ANBU, maybe a new Jonin leader for the new generation, or at the very least Boruto's baby sitter(haha kinda joking about this one if you didn't get it). But what do I know right? Haha! In all seriousness I just wanted to know if anyone else has thought about what Neji would be like in the mini series? All feedback is appreciated and I will attempt to respond ASAP.

Actually i don't think there have been that many threads about this. If Neji were have survived then we may have gotten to see the true power of the Hyuuga clan, but instead we get Hinata

Yeah I mean other than her role in the last which wasn't very combat oriented either her feats are kinda lacking in comparison to Neji who cloud have been such a great role model for the next generation of leaf ninja.

I don't dislike him but honestly never really cared about him. Killing of characters is good to make it more dramatic (unless it's your fav).

or mighto gai...him not dying just spoiled all that big talk he had when he entered 8th gate...his death would be legendary like hiruzen`s.....or ten ten...would be cool if kishi redeemed her so that she would seal madara with those tools and sacrifice herself in the process

Neji would've still been a Jounin, probably a close friend of Naruto's, maybe have a girlfriend (I was thinking TenTen, but she's apparently with Lee, and Hanabi's kinda young for him) and overall be the solid character that he is.

(Kishi's words) No according to Kishi he needed something to draw NH together (my own words): they had little to no development so they needed something dramatic to put them

Boruto is so far Naruto 2.0 and u know it autoplay. Neji wasn't cool before his fight with Naruto, he was a snob

Killing off an irrelavent character who holds alot of great potential is not a good thing when a character that was just reintroduce to Shippuden only to die holds no significiance and Impact to the story. If Neji had to die, it would've been the fight with Kidomaru because it's his meaningful death

Really how so. The only difference that i can see is that rather than trying to make everyone notice him like Naruto, he wants his dad's attention. imo Bolt is acting just like just like Naruto would if he was in that situation. Only Bolt seems more mature
