Not really, Manda is under the command of Sasuke, and he can track Kimimaro via Sharingan, rendering Manda's inferior intelligence moot here. Sharingan can see chakra, and I'm not exactly sure if his bone forest is consistent of chakra itself, but Sasuke will most certainly see through it and spot the bulge of chakra that Kimimaro would be emitting.

How is that relevant here, that was forcefully smashed into his head by Tsunade, who is leagues above Kimimaro in strength and his bones wouldn't be used or executed in this way in any shape way or form, they come from the ground. Tsunade not only used her own physical strength to pierce Manda, but the weight of the sword itself played a role in this and the fact that she was falling from the air added to it's piercing power.
