I'll go straight to the point. I'm trying to leave Florida after graduating from college but I don't know how I'll be able to get a job, I'm not a social person and I don't really have any friends. I'm studying automotive technology. How much should I'll put aside to make this happen? Is anyone an auto mechanic? Do you mind helping an almost 20 year old guy out please?
There was a guy like you at one point, he lived in chicago and his life was in shambles but one decision(on top of great determination) changed his life forever. When he decided to move to Phoenix Arizona, he accomplished what he set out to do.
First you want to decide where you want to go to, so do your research before-hand. Pick a state you want to move to and everything you want in that state. For example, if I would move I would look if the people are good over there, if the weather is great, the safety there, the cost of living, business/job opportunities etc. Now take all those things you deem important and compare them to Florida. Then put a number on them from 1-10. For example, how great is the weather, Florida gets 9 while the other state gets 6 so Florida wins there, once you go through the list and you should have a bunch of things, then you simply add the points together and whichever state got the most points wins. You can do this for several states but only compare Florida to one state at a time, you want to get the highest score possible for the state you want to move to or atleast just better than Florida in what you're looking for, that state makes the most sense for you to move to. This method is called Weighted Analysis Decision Matrix or WADM for short. I wish you the best of luck.
