Need help photo shop!

Hello I am starting to learn the amazing program Photoshop.

And im going to specialize myself in the area of manga and anime pictures.

To start with I am a nub I never used the program before. I've searched on google etc. to find tutorials etc. But I either end up in a dead end or downloading a virus.

So now im turning myself to the experts here! I have seen many pictures people made here and my goal is to make as good picture as them.

So now to my question. How do I start to draw, like.. Hinata or someone from the Naruto show. (Hinata is my favorite) What brushes do I need? etc. (Im using Photoshop CS3 Extended). Thank you everyone for helping me and I will post my work here from time to time, as soon as I learned how to make a picture.

Btw. If im using the wrong program please help me find the program I need to make manga/anime pictures and such. TY peace, love and understanding!

hrmmm i really suck at drawin mangas O.O its to complicated for me
i think they get scans of there drawings and then photoshop the rest

i'm not that great at photoshop. But i do know that even people who are real good at it have a hard time making a pic from scratch. if nu want to use photoshop, i suggest using renders and such. wo to

. use those renders to make cool sigs and such.

u could also use photoshop for manga colorings and things like that.

i think that gimp might be able to help you make pics. i dont know anything about it. ask around though ^_^

thats really really really tough. i dont think u can do that in photoshop. they have special manga-making softwares.
