Why dont you go back and read on WHY those wars started.
WW2 started primarily because Hitler was power-mad and believed German blood to be superior and untainted. Religion wasn't the cause, just an extra angle.
WW1 started primarily because of existing tensions between countries of the Triple Entente and the Triple Alliance. War being triggered by Black Hand associates planning the Archduke's assassination. The Black Hand were nationalists.
Seeing a pattern? It's nationalism in both cases. The only difference is that one motivates, where the other started the ball rolling.
