Yeah that is how it can go down at times but one has to know what the **** they are doing at all times throughout the fight or else they can get caught in some major ass shit. Trust me I have been there and I have died in a few fights to moves as low as a B-Rank technique because of hiccups against clones.

But not every rper is like that with the clones using F-Ranks all the time with S-Ranks, sometimes we will have them combine A's and B rank techniques. The fun fights are the ones that push it to the limit without running and whinning and bitching to mods and sensei's trying to get an outside opinion in on the matter. If you can't win threw your own skills or imagination or thinking you can never consider yourself to even be mentioned to be on the top list.

Gingka - Ya fighting without clones is fun as hell because your putting yourself on the line every time, but it doesn't exactly make you a "perfect" rper even if you are proficient at it.

What I consider a rp great is for the person to be able to get into their fights, to put their bio's on the line basically.....when I had an ice user way back in the day....I put his life on the line all the time. he took a kirin threw his shoulder (still won that fight), got impaled, blown up, crushed, gave up limbs just to continue a fight. Hell that was what made shit fun back in the day we didn't have the mass amounts of rookies as we do today people were actually into the rp to have fun not to just get to that next rank.

In the current rp, if you take a single hit, you lose and thats it, theres no levels of damage, or fighting with injuries.. its just lobbing nukes and hiding in bunkers to coin a phrase i heard before.. xD

I agree with both of these. You dont land a hit unless its a kill shot... Which is really sad and myself as part of the new gen cant really have as much fun in RP as the older gen makes it seem, since everybody goes straight for the one shot kill.

I agree. If you got hit by just Earth Style technique you're already dead. Old gen is the best. ^^ oh well, time flies by.

I don't nominate him. Just because he passed the test doesn't mean shizz to me. I care about skills and how creative you can be. I got skills and creative in Taijutsu, Water Style and Lightning Style but it probably still isn't enough to pass the Minatio so yea passing the Minato or any other hard doesn't show me or anybody else anything if you can't back it without spamming or using kill jutsus.

Unfortunatly thats what the RP has evolved into over the years. There used to be a little give and take in battles, but now if there is the slightest opening people will exploit it.

Heres an example:
[old days]
Zoro charges a chidori and runs towards SY, as he thrusts his chidori at SY, SY pushes his forearm aside and punches Zoro in his chest with his opposite hand. Zoro stumbles backwards and smirks

[new school]
Zoro charges a chidori and runs towards SY, as he thrusts his chidori at SY, SY pushes his forearm aside and punches Zoro in his chest with his opposite hand. as Zoro gets punched, he releases a chidori nagashi and paralyzes SY, then thrusts his chidori into SY's chest killing him.

see the difference? theres no leeway anymore, which robs the fight of all of its badassedness
