Yes. There is a huge difference. More people follow the rules here now since they are scared to lose their account due to bann, and if they do they know they cannot make a new one.

I took action and created the thread a few days after a particular member decided it would be fantastic to post over two dozen pornographic threads with several members egging him on. It took two hours to stop him while both local and global moderators were present beforehand.

You do realize you can change your IP...? The mods and admins are not dumb. If that was the solution, registration would have never been closed.

Yes, the external IP can be changed. The internal IP, however, cannot, unless you wish to buy another computer to continue posting shenanigans.

sure some good members will come but a vast majority of them will be trolls, or alts. The base will get moree threads like

pornos
Bashing
Spam.

These types of things will occur more often. A till the members here in the base can behave themselves, the admins will open them up.

No. It was way worse before. Not only did the original account get banned, but they made new accounts, and new accounts and it kept going. You have no idea. I know why you want registrations open to. It won't happen, so just drop it.

no one makes productive threads, its mainly friends of friends replying to threads and singling out other replies, the stricter rules, the decline in funny trolls, all of this contributes to the death of this place
