Last Time Rei was at the Head Masters office the Morning Zanji disappeared and she had a note in her and with nothing but "I'm Sorry" written on it, and Versuvio saying that they must continue with the exam no matter what the case......
Rei: But Head Master you know just as well as I do that we need Zanji for this exam only he knows what this generation of students is capable of.
Versuvio: Yes, Rei I do know that and yes it is a great loss for us that he decided to disappear especially at a time like this. Rei do you know why he would leave?
Rei: The only reason I can think of is because he fears that "thing" that destroyed his family and friends would still be there and he wouldn't have the power to protect us if it was...
Versuvio: Exactly.....but I have faith in this school that we can handle anything thrown at us. Please go meet up with the rest in the front entrance at the transport vehicles.
Rei: *bows her head and lightly says: Yes Sir! and she slowly backs out of the office and goes the the front entrance*
As Rei gets to the front Versuvio comes on over the loud speaker:
Versuvio: As you all may have noticed by now that our head combat instructor Zanji has disappeared for unknown purposes. But none the less we will still commence with the Graduation Exam. Rei you will be in charge of the medical teams with the top medic student Kabuto aiding you. BiBi and Grimm you two will be in charge of the tracking teams. Nexus and Max you two will be in charge of the Long Range teams. Ragnaroc, Natsu and Khaled you three will head the lead offensive teams that will charge into Coast Reef.
Everyone shouts "SIR YES SIR!" as Versuvio comes off the elevator and everyone salutes him as he is in his battle gear and he comes down the stairs and notices that Rei is still saddened that Zanji is missing....
Versuvio: *gently puts his hand on her shoulder and whispers into her ear: Rei everything will be fine so come on we need you focused.....*
Rei: *whispers: Yes sir I know but.....never mind he left on his own reasons....*
Versuvio: Thats the spirit *he walks onto the first of 4 transport vehicles and turns* Everyone load up we are heading out!
Everyone gets on the vehicles and the 5 Instructors are all on their transport and they all notice Zanji's bike is not there neither are his weapons....
Nexus: I never expected him of all people to be a coward and chicken out in the last moment of something to this degree....
Grimm: Yeah I know this is not like him at all and that just makes this mission all that more difficult....
Max: Come on you guys we can do this we don't need Zanji to make us a good team....
Rei: No we don't but he is what held us together even though he was the hot head, arrogant, self centered jerk of us all and nevre opened up to any of us....*as she looks down saddened*
BiBi: *puts her hand on Rei's shoulder* Rei we all are devastated by this now come on lets focus
They all hear explosions and swords and shields and miscellaneous weapons clashing all around them outside and all the transport vehicles come to a halt and unload all of the students and instructors....
Ragnaroc: COME ON LETS MOVE IT!!!! WE HAVE TO MAKE OUR WAY TO THE CENTER OF THE TOWN TO THE RADIO TOWER!!!!
Natsu: *jumps out of the transport gripping his tonfa's tightly* ALRIGHT!!!!!! *smirks and pushes his sunglasses up and shouts* ALRIGHT GUYS LETS DO THIS!!!!!!! ICE, YAMATO YOU TWO COME WITH ME!!!! *as the three of them charge head on into the town*
Khaled: *sitting calmly in his seat with the transport being blasted none stop and calmly says* Chii, L you two come with me well get to the Radio Tower far before Natsu and his moron pals get there *the three of them get up and head out taking a different route to the Tower*
Ragnaroc: *notices everyone out and hears a huge missle heading for his transport and starts to run but suddenly hears someone shout for help and he turns and sees Aki having trouble getting out of her seat and she can't reach her Sai's to cut the belt* AKI!? *he quickly turns around nad runs back into the transport and cuts her belt off*
Aki: *blushes a bit and quickly hugs Ragnaroc and thanks him* Thank you so much *she gets up and grabs her Sai's and starts to run out of the transport*
Ragnaroc: *blushes when she hugs him and stutters saying* N-n-no problem *he hears the missle coming closer and quickly starts to run out of the transport moments before the missile impacts and blows up their transport*
Aki: *bends down help Rag stand up from the blast and hears a Northern Nation Soldier running up behind her and she quickly spins around stabbing one sai into the guys foot then shooting her other Sai threw the guys jaw and into his skull* F*cken Northern pricks Rag, sir I will head on ahead you have the medics check out that leg *she runs into the town*
Ragnaroc: Gah I'm fine *he gets up and follows the others into the town*
Shortly after all the combat squads head into the town they are quickly and easily handling the Northern Nation. Going threw one after another without the slightest problem until Ragnaroc, Natsu, Khaled, and Aki all get separated from their assigned teams and run into each other in the center of the town at the radio...
Ragnaroc: Natsu, Khaled where are your teammates?
Natsu: Ice's Ice Staff broken while fighting and took a major blow to the shoulder so I had Yamato take him back to the closest medic squad which was about half a mile East...
Khaled: I don't know where those two are last I saw them was when we entered the town after that I lost them....they couldn't keep up so screw um
Natsu: Those are your friends Khaled why would you act so cold and harsh about them! YOUR SUPPOSE TO.....
Before Natsu could finish his sentence they all felt the ground shake below their feet and the ground cracking and bursting upwards and moments later and gigantic robotic scorpion with 2 giant tails, 4 enormous pincers and 2 sets of gattling guns and rocket launchers are on its back
Natsu: What the hell......*as his eyes grow in fear and shock of what he sees before him*
Khaled: there's no way.....*as he is in aww of what he sees*
Aki: *gripping her Sais tightly and grinds her teeth* Come on I bet we can take it
Mecha-Scorpion: *sees Aki as the major threat of the four and raises 2 of his enormous pincers and swings them at her*
Ragnaroc: *sees the Scorpion attacking Aki first and jumps in the way grabbing ahod of Aki with his back bracing for the hit*
As the Scorpion strikes it sends Ragnaroc while holding Aki protecting her flying across the town and as they are about to crash into one of the transports Aki drops into the sand just before Ragnaroc crashes back first into the medic transport
Rei: *Runs out of the transport after feeling the impact and sees Ragnaroc on the ground and Aki out in the sand* KABUTO GET OUT HERE! *she runs to rag and rolls him onto his back and checks to see if he's conscious which he isn't*
Kabuto start working on him I will go check on Aki *she runs over and Aki is holding her arm slightly* Aki are you alright? What happened?
Aki: Yes ma'am I am alright but when that monster appeared and went to strike me Rag jumped in the way of its 2 enormous pincers and took the blow for me....is he....
Rei: No he is alive just hurt badly, but what monster are you talking about and was there anyone else out there?
Aki: Thank god......but the monster looked like a gigantic scorpion....and yes Natsu and Khaled are still out there fighting that....thing
Rei: *her eyes grow huge in terror and fear* Did you just say gigantic scorpion *she grabs her radio and quickly demands that Versuvio pull everyone back now and tells him the Scorpion is still here*
Not even a moment later the Sirens blare for the students to return to the ship and students come out of everywhere but Rei has yet too see Natsu but sees Khaled limping and bloody
Rei: Khaled where the hell is Natsu?
Khaled: *struggling and says* he....hes still fighting that freak show but his right arm is completely broken so I don't know how much longer he can
before he can finish Rei runs into the town to meet up with Natsu and try to save him as everyone is gathering back at the transports and they all hear a thunderous roar of an engine heading towards them from behind them...
Nexus: What the hell don't tell me that thing has reinforcements
Grimm: *squeezes his eyes and sees a plume of dust coming up quickly and shoots past them* ummmm....I don't think its back up or the monster hehe *as he falls backwards*
Nexus: No I think your right Grimm....and if thats who I hope to god it was then Rei and Natsu are safe
Bibi: Was that....
Nexus, Grimm, Versuvio, Max all at the same time say "Oh yeah"
Rei:*finally getting to where Natsu is but doesn't see or hear the monster* Natsu where is the hell is that monster and let me see your arm quickly *she closes her eyes and puts her hands over his arm and her hands glow as his arm heals*
Natsu: I lost it back there a bit but......
A sudden crash of boulders surrounds them as the monster appears above them on the buildings and gets ready to fire on them and all of a sudden a black and light blue outlined motorcycle crashes into the back of the beast and Zanji appears slamming his giant sword with the shield guard into the building and he stands over Rei and Natsu protecting them from the gun fire
Zanji: Rei, Natsu both of you get out of here I will handle this thing....
Rei: *her eyes sparkle at seeing Zanji and she quickly gets focus* No we aren't going anywhere without you you can't handle this.....
Zanji: *before rei can finish her sentence he pulls her close and kisses her very passionately and leaves her awe stricken and blushing* Natsu take her and get the hell out of here now!
Natsu: Zanji I don't know if I should be sickened at that or
Zanji: NOW DAMN IT!
Natsu: *his eyes get huge from the shock* Sir yes sir *he picks Rei up and runs for the town entrance*
Zanji is smirking and thinking to himself as the Scorpion jumps to try to catch Natsu and Rei and Zanji blasts it in the stomach with his gun and it quickly turns and goes to fire its Gatling guns again and Zanji shoots its guns off and he throws his gun aside and grips his sword tightly as the Scorpion opens its missile hatches...
Zanji: *he closes his eyes and smirks and thinks about protecting the the students and his friends and Rei and the top of his sword starts to shoot out flames and he raises it above his head and spins it around with flames surrounding him and the scorpion goes to strike him with two of its pincers and one of its tails but all if cut off and it lowers to fire all its missiles at Zanji while facing the transports...and Zanji opens his eyes*
You will not kill them!
Zanji slams his sword into the ground just as the Scorpion fires all its missiles in a last ditch effort and a gigantic pillar of flame shoots into the sky as a huge explosion happens.....
Rei: *seeing the pillar and the explosion and her eyes grow huge in fear as she loses all feeling of Zanji and she lets out a scream of horro shouting out his name with tears running down her face*
Everyone else sees what happens and hears Rei screaming out Zanji and their eyes grow huge as they cover their eyes from the flash....
