When angered or fighting, his eyes narrow with small cat-like pupils. A recurring theme in his appearance is that he is considered quite handsome by nearly all girls near his age.

Natsu is cold, ill-tempered, and extremely prideful. From a young age, he stood out in talent. Combined with his unwavering resolve to succeed, he has proven himself able to master seemingly any skill or technique he sets his mind to. This has allowed him to quickly master one of his sensei Sougetsu's ultimate techniques in under a few hours, and to also become highly proficient in a number of skills, including acting and especially martial arts.

Background Info.
History:
When he was still very young, Natsu’s parents died during an attack carried by the nomadic and bloodthirsty Ragnarok band. The trauma made him lose memory of what happened, which made it easier for Ragnarok to brainwash him into becoming one of them.
As he grew up, Natsu demonstrated high innate talent and intellect in any domain, which helped him to achieve anything he would set his mind to. Most particularly, he developed skills for manipulating his surrounding and this helped him to obtain training from the unsocial and legendary fighter Sougetsu, whom had never accepted to train anyone before him. Under the training of Sougetsu, he became highly proficient in a number of combat styles and techniques, and soon became one of the top ten elite warriors of Ragnarok. His talents have also repeatedly helped him to make tremendous jumps in combat prowess. Initially, he was only the 6th Fist of Ragnarok – the Ragnarok elite are titled from 1st Fist to 10th Fist, the lowest number being the most powerful one – but later surpassed and ultimately defeated the 2nd Fist Berserker. Even Sougetsu applauded Natsu's growth from training himself in such a short time.
Things seemed to work out right for Natsu. However, as he experienced more and more situations where he would participate in attacks on innocent people and recruit the surviving kids, he started to reminisce his own history and soon enough, he was able to see through Ragnarok’s deception. Seeking revenge, Natsu used his skills as an expert manipulator to bring Ragnarok rapidly to its demise by arranging confrontations with the mighty Mandalorian clan. As things turned out bad for Ragnarok, Natsu showed his true colors and defeated the 1st Fist Odin while the Mandalore –Mugen- defeated Sougetsu. Later on, the Mandalore -Mugen- showed appreciation for Natsu’s acts by accepting him into the Mandalorian clan.
Joining the Mandalorian clan, Natsu was soon pitched against another mandalorian rookie to further prove his worth. His opponent, CrossArc, demonstrated equal power and skills and their fight nearly ended with both of them dying. This quality of theirs to give a fight till the very end brought them appreciation from all the clan, and Natsu realized his rival in the person of CrossArc. With the goal of surpassing CrossArc in mind, Natsu sets out on a new journey alongside the Mandalorian clan.

Great Strength: Natsu is deceptively strong, an attribute from the intense training Sougetsu put him through. As Natsu follows Sougetsu's philosophy of destroying his opponent, his attacks are shown to be powerful and lethal. With a single hand, he could demolish a tree trunk and crush a car door. In terms of upperbody strength, he can easily pick up and throw a man twice his size across a room.
Great Speed: Natsu is able to strike at such speed and rapid succession, leaving little time for his opponent's dodge or counterattack. He is also just as evasive, able to dodge and block most attacks with no wasted movement and just as easily counter.
Great Physical Prowess: Through all the hellish training Sougetsu put him through, Natsu is at peak physical condition, as evident from his well-built muscular frame. In battle, Natsu repeatedly demonstrates immense agility and flexibility. He is able to contort and shift his body stance to effortlessly change his attack patterns and strike from various angles. He is also a remarkable acrobat, able to use his agility to jump several stories high and scale various terrains. He is also shown to be highly resilient, able to take deep stab wound to the chest and great blood loss yet still continue fighting effectively. His prowess is shown to be naturally so high, that it is hard at times for him to hold back, even at time annoyed with himself to drawing too much attention.
